The cvs closest to me closed down for good. I was thinking of switching over to the Walgreens near this cvs (bc they have a drive thru). Well, I had a rx sent to the walgreens and they didn’t receive it. After calling them several time then my provider - I finally ask my provider to send it this the CVS on mesa dr and brown. What took all day with no luck at Walgreens, took this CVS about an hr to fill. Thank you CVS pharmacy for providing excellent service and getting my rx before closing for the day. I no longer care that you don’t have a drive thru lol.

I had such a good experience at this location that I am compelled to leave a review for two specific people that helped me tonight. First , Ayla in the pharmacy was absolutely wonderful. She had such a positive attitude and I was very grateful for her. And then as I was checking out I was helped by a gentleman named JC! He made sure I got my extra care rewards and was patient enough for my son to go run and pick out a drink so that I could get all my free rewards!! It is hard being a single mom and when somebody shows so much patience and kindness I am very grateful.! Thanks guys!

Buying prints of my pictures. The tops of the heads were cut off and the color looked just terrible. They were rude about helping me.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews of this CVS Pharmacy. I've been going there for several months and have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff and store. The staff are always friendly with me and I enjoy going in there to pick up my prescriptions each month. I have a positive attitude when I go places like this though and I think that has a lot to do with how human interactions go in general. Big thanks to the CVS Pharmacy staff for being friendly, fast and courteous!

I always choose CVS over Walgreens but this particular location is 0 for 2. The website shows that they do walk-in vaccinations so I went in with my son for them to tell me that they didn't have any thawed out. We stood there for several minutes setting up appts for him and I for the following evening.
I left work 30 min early and went out of my way to go back to this location just to have them say that they deleted my son's appt because they didn't have his insurance. We could have given it to them the prior day if they asked for it but they didn't. They didn't call, text, or email about it either. So instead of them just entering the insurance info when we showed up, they said they were too busy and to reschedule. No way am I going back to that place a third time. Why would I trust that the third time would be any different if you already didn't honor your website by taking a walk in and then didn't honor the appointment when we did it that way?

HORRIBLE pharmacy .
Everything in here is always down . The money order , the photo center . The pharmacy has you on hold for 30-40 minutes then you show on site and they brush it off like “hmm I didn’t hear the phone ring”! They don’t warn you when they put your medications on hold, they don’t even bother following up by doing their job on calling the insurance to release the medications . So now you have trouble receiving your medications on time because they slacked on doing there job on getting renewals or even answering their phones. I dont know why they have the app if it doesn’t even help or work
Trash store.
Then the staff complains “I’m doing both pharmacy and front end, you need to understand that”
They basically lie. They say your prescriptions are in hold due to insurance not approving it , but in reality they just don’t do their job.
I had a situation where my insurance was approving everything but the pharmacy was lying to my face saying my insurance was the problem.
I get on the phone with my insurance. They tell me there isn’t any issue that it was already approved and ready to pick up.
Right then on the phone call I get a message from CVS saying my prescriptions were ready to pick up.

This pharmacy shouldn’t be open. I had a medication prescribed to me, the pharmacy wouldn’t give it to me, and claimed that my insurance was not cover it, when I called my insurance, my insurance said that they were covering it, and then this pharmacy would not pick up the phone for my insurance or for me. When I called back this morning, the pharmacist by the name of Fry Was very rude and unprofessional And hung up on me after I voiced my frustration. NEVER use this CVS!

Took 30+ minutes to get my medication, they only have 2 people running the pharmacy registers and when they call your name they don't announce loud enough. Will be going to the Walgreens in the future.

Shopping today for medicine and had the displeasure of hearing the pharmacist or pharmacy tech throw a massive fit complaining to all the staff about Walk In vaccinations this person should be fired for how he treats others and the impression he gives customers when a sign is outside stating walk ins welcome.

Rude staff. I was hung up on twice when asking for verification of coverage on a prescription. When I called back a third time they told me to call my insurance company myself and ask. Do not do to this cvs. I can’t believe it is in business.

I cant believe that the manager of the pharmacy has a job. Not only does he have a substantial prejudice of anyone using Access healthcare, he is also inadequate at his job. He blames insurance and refuses to listen to customers. He hung up on my daughter, said her insurance wasn't working and she needs to "figure it out" (also stated he constantly has problems with access...which, you are the manager call and figure out why you have issues and no other cvs does), then said she needed a card and preceded to hang up and talk over her when she called back (she spent almost 2.5 hrs talking to access, every time they said it was his job to call not hers and that no pharmacy needs a card, only a # which they had). She had an acute infection that required IMMEDIATE antibiotics. Cvs in chandler filled the perscription 15 minutes later, no issue. I called to talk to Frye about the bias he showed, not handling sick access customers with dignity and respect. He hung up on me too. Cvs obviously knows the type of employee/manager he is (read reviews, yelp too!) and are part of the issue, if they allow this behavior to continue. If you lack compassion, you do not belong in this career.
