Bad communication, unprofessional office staff, mechanics aren’t knowledgeable. Only in business because of city contracts with fire departments.
Brought in RV to get AC fixed. Had a freon leak. I set appointment and dropped off. After a week I called to ask what was going on. They said they needed to order a new tool and should be in soon. I waited another week and a half and called to ask status and had to leave message since nobody answered phone and requested to talk to a manager. Manager calls back and said they had a lot of fire trucks come in and they take priority but he would get on it soon. They call the next day and tell me the leak must be under dash cause they couldn’t find it and that’s not work they do. He said I owed just $600 for the labor in it. I went to pick it up and then found a mobile mechanic that came to my house. He was able to find the leak that was near the engine and fix it all in under 2 hours. It wasn’t hard to find or fix with someone who is an actual mechanic. Stay away from these guys. I would not recommend them to anyone. I should have know when I arrived and there was nobody in the office when they opened cause they were out front smoking.

It is beyond frustrating.

I would like to say thank you to Ethan Vera from PM Department. I was trying to get my Load Bank report for several weeks. Sales and Service either would not return my voice mail or send me regular PMs instead what I was asking for. Thank you Ethan for listening #5. Sometimes that is all it takes.

Brought in a generator that was smoking and the insulation had started smoldering and the plastic shell was burned from an exhaust leak. There clearly was something wrong. They called me back and said they’ve “looked at it for 2 hours and it’s fine”. I said “look again it’s clearly melted” , they called again and said they must have “missed” the smoke coming out of the cracked exhaust. Yeah no duh, open your eyes. When I picked it up there was a wire sticking out that they broke off the terminal. They said it wasn’t them, I trusted that, but when I looked at my picture of the generator from the weekend before, that wire definitely isn’t snapped and hanging out. I Will be filing a dispute with the credit card company for my $300 “diagnosis fee” They wanted $2600 to fix the leak and $1300 for an oil change on a generator???? Absolutely insane, now I need to go to another shop. Hopefully capital one gives my money back since they wasted my time and broke a terminal in my generator and left the wire exposed hanging out, then tried denying it. Bad news scam, avoid this place.

Talk about scam artist! They tell me they can fix my generator as it is under warranty. It sits on their lot for a MONTH! then I am called to tell me they can't fix it 2 days after my warranty is up due to bad gas! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I dropped it off with brand new gas in it explaining it had never worked correctly. They wanted me to pay $125 diagnostic fee which I never agreed to only fixing of the rough running which apparently was a common problem. It is sad the Cummins has attached their name to these rip off artist!

Do NOT go here they will rip you off and still not fix your issue. After 3 different visits to fix an overheating issue I had to do my own research and recommend what to fix because Spartan Chassis told me what it could be. And it was the issue, but I didn’t let Cummins fix it because they still charged me a $900 diagnostic fee even though I told them what to fix. Previously they charged me TWICE to replace a thermostat that wasn’t even the issue. And that wasn’t cheap in my 500hp Newmar. These guys have no idea what they are doing…no wonder why they had new service employees and mechanics every time I went. Go to Masseys Diesel Repair instead!

The rep at the counter acted like he hated his job. It was more of a hassle for him to work with you not very friendly.

If I could leave no stars or negative stars, I would. This company only exists because they manufacture engines that for support, you have no other choice but to deal with them, there are no round abouts.Let’s talk about customer service. There is none. You call the number, you end up with a customer service rep that works from home. They either will not or cannot verbally contact the people working in that location. They tell you that they will “call” (you aren’t allowed to talk to them direct unless you physically go to the location), there is no phone contact with them except via the work from home liaison. They tell you that you will get a return call - then no return call, then they don’t understand why your frustration level is through the roof when you talk to them.Husband ordered a service manual. They say 6 weeks, it will be sent to the home address. Instead it goes to this facility and then you cannot talk to someone to verify they actually have it and it’s an 18 minute drive to hopefully be able to physically get it. This company sucks and so does the people that work there. If we didn’t have to do business with them, we definitely wouldn’t!

If you own a RV or semi truck or anything that has a Cummins motor, don't bother taking it to this establishment. They will rip you off and when you decline the work they will make it were the problem will happen again. I brought in a semi truck to look at the after treatment system and to look at the check engine light and stop engine light. I'm a diesel mechanic so I did most of the work but I don't have the proper scan tool to remove the codes. So first thing, nobody called me for any updates which I had to do the calling. Then they tell me that they found nothing yet but had to realign the SCR filter because it was leaking from the clamps, which I let that go because I did clean out the filter myself, so it could've been leaking a little but I doubt it. Then they came back with a quote for 2200-2400 for clamps, gaskets and exhaust bellow and so I declined the work. Picked up the unit and they charged me 800 and in the story from the mechanic had that they realigned the clamps and filter for the leaks but when I got it i to the shop there was a big leak at one of the clamps supposedly they have realigned. So i realigned the filter and clamp, but I also remember the service writer did say if I don't get the job done from them it will happen again and I will be back. Which they did get the codes deleted and if I didn't fix that leak it would've have happened again. I don't know about anyone but when I do work for a customer and I say I did it, I make sure I did it and not scam the customer. Especially this is a Cummins service center. You would expect better work and quality. So I paid 800 for them to hook up the computer and delete the codes. I will never go back to this establishment again and I hope this review helps other ppl too. If you really have to go to a Cummins center, take it to the tolleson branch. In reality you really don't have to go to Cummins unless you need to hookup to Cummins insite software. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS THEY WILL UPSALE YOU FOR MORE THEN YOU NEED TOO.

First of all don't bother calling just plan on driving there to get an answer.First quote to replace the fan hub was $3400. Then asked a couple of questions about takeoff power loss. Then the manager got involved. He wanted to look at the radiator on my RV and then said I would get a revised quote. New quote was for $6500, labor almost doubled and added rehab of the radiators (21k miles on a 2019 Tiffin). My 3rd party warranty company said the Cummins quote was for $4100 but they said they would only cover $3100.Drove to Cummins (they did not return my call) to ask where things stand. They said they hadn't received an answer from the warranty company.I asked why the second quote almost doubled and the service rep got management to answer. He said that the radiators needed rehab and he didn't give a definitive answer as to why the labor increased $1600.At this point I can tell when I am being screwed. So my cost will be anywhere from $3400 to $6500 depending on which way the wind is blowing. No Thanks!!!!Got charged $560 for the diagnosis and my house batteries were completely dead. The Mesa Cummins service center is not honest.
