“I absolutely love this organization. I volunteer here from time to time. The staff is incredibly nice and events are officially run. This is a great opportunity to have children volunteer as well.I will be going back to feed my starving children for volunteer events in the future. This is a great event if you are organizing a volunteer event for your company. Not only are you making a huge impact, it’s pretty fun.”

“Entrance was a tad confusing, the U-Hauls in the lot were blocking much of the signage. Walkways inside didn’t seem well planned for foot traffic particularly leading to the cows & horses. But, still a good experience for young kids and the free roaming baby goats were fun to interact with.”

“This place was my turning around point for my life. I had just gone through a divorce and this place helped me get back on my feet and realize that there was so much in life to live for!! It’s run by great people and I’ll forever be grateful to them for the time I got to spend there. If anyone has seen negative reviews, it’s from a bunch of angry kids who didn’t want to get their lives together. This place truly will help those who go through this program.”

“I've been installing technology for years. Some of the work is decommissioning tech. It kills me to throw things away. The folks at AZStRUT are fantastic. At least most of my tech stuff has a good home now. These folks are doing great things for people and the planet.”

“I have been here multiple times when I was just turning an adult and 18 years old and twice again after getting out of the joint. I was there when the original owner ran the place (Margie Frost) and after it was taken over by A new leaf. Both times it was a great experience. I was hard headed when I was young for sure but they were patient with me both times. ? I learned so much from this place and gained tools to continue on the right path in life and it has worked now for 12 years and I'm at a better place in life than I have ever been. I own my own house and vehicles have had the same job for going on 6 years and have a family of my own. I am so thankful for east valley men's center.”

“My ten year old daughter has had a magnificent experience with EVCT. Over the past year, or so, she has attended Audition Workshops, been cast in Main Stage productions and a Junior Main Stage production, taken camps, and attended classes. Staff are very competent, highly enthusiastic about all aspects of theatre arts (writing, acting, dancing, stage management, directing, make up, costume design, music, choreography, set design, tech etc etc), nurturing, and there is strong overall sense of community. My daughter has undoubtedly grown in various ways - willingness to try new experiences, confidence acting on stage in front of ~200 people at the fantastic Mesa Arts Center theatre, made good new friends, carefully managed her time, flexed her memory skills, dealt with the setback of not being cast, been a responsible and positive cast member, improved her acting, dancing, and singing skill. Thank you to all at EVCT for cultivating such a safe, welcoming, and encouraging space for children who want to try theatre! There seems to be something for every young aspiring actor at EVCT.”

“Vera and Jim Dingman founded this ministry to serve children who needed a home starting with the brutal depression years. The work continues today. For years I supported them through the Mesa United Way and visited the campus serveral times over the years. I am retired now and starting to shed some of my furniture from over the years. Today I had the pleasure of donating 4 bookcases. The donation was scheduled online. They texted me about half an hour before their arrival to let me know they were on the way. Two very kind gentle showed up with a humungus truck and loaded up the bookcases for me to take to the thrift store that helps to support this important work. I will be calling them back in a few weeks to take some dressers as well. I highly recommend this organization.”

“My mom had a lot of household goods she wanted to donate and we came across this place. After asking a ton of questions, we really like the concept and what they are doing for people, and we think it is a very worthy and worthwhile cause. I hope the families going through their program are appreciative of the fact that a program like this exists to get them back on their feet. I know I've had to struggle with homelessness when I was younger and with my children, and I thank God something like this existed for me (although in another state) to help me get on my feet and it taught me how to stay on them. Thank God there are still people in the world who want to help other people ?. If I still lived in AZ I would volunteer here every chance I got!”

“This foundation does exactly what they say Save the family. I would encourage anyone who needs help to sign up. There is a waiting list that may take several years but I promise it's worth it. There are other resources to utilize while on the wait list. I'm a single mom with 6 kids and I have fought very hard to keep my family out of the states hands. Save the family did save my family. Now we live in a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood and we are happy. The foundation continues to help us throughout all of our struggles. So please if you need help, sign up. I would also highly recommend if anyone wants to donate to a charitable organization please donate to Save the Family foundation. This place actually makes a substantial change in people's lives! Thank you Save the Family! We are so grateful to you and all who have donated!”
