So I stopped today to look at a couple toy haulers. I'm looking at spending $70K+ on a trailer. I was told I would have to give them my contact information and driver's license to look "for insurance purposes". I've been looking at toy haulers for 6 months getting ready and I have never not been allowed to look because I won't give ID. I don't give this information out for any reason unless I want to. As soon as you're in their systems, they will use to try to sell. Please stop with the "insurance purposes", if that is the case, I'd look for new insurance as you're just going to drive customers away. What's funny, is I was at another Camping World location and they never even asked.

The phone just rings and rings.
While looking for an RV washer and Dryer on the website a page pops up to block your view demanding to place cookies on your phone.
You can’t use the website or phone to get anywhere with these derelicts.

We bought a table and chair set the other day. The woman, Becky, who assisted us, gave us the VIP treatment. After assisting us with our purchase, she assisted us with loading the items into our vehicle. Kudos to her for being as attentive as she was to us.

Absolutely The worst place to consign a camper, they jacked up the price more than we paid new no one bought it of course, they offered to buy at the beginning of the consignment time and we can take the offer at anytime. Well it didn’t sell and they refused to buy it. It’s 1 a year old trailer absolute waste of time terrible communication beware of these idiots

I found that Camping World had a slightly better price on line than other companies. I made the trip across town and selected my toilet and a few other items. The price at the store was about $89 more than on-line, but when I mentioned that the on-line price was cheaper they quickly offered to match the on- line price Scooter in parts got me to the display and helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for. Becker at the cash register helped me when I was looking at other items and then she checked. me out. She was very personable and professional. All in all these employees made it a very pleasant experience. I'll be back.

NEVER make a purchase from Camping World in Mesa, Az. The character limit won't let me go into all the details but it started with the finance department. Their reps use "Tied-In" tactics, offering lower interest rates if you bundle up extra services and warranties. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN AZ. Every time I listen to my recording of our session with finance I'm blown away by how blaant they are about this illegal activity. Now let's talk about their service department. They will tell you to bring it in after your first trip so they can service it to fix all the little things, no cost, that show up after you truly travel and use it the first time. Sure enough we had a few. I walked into my service appt on schedule and was introduced to Chris Ackermann who immediately went into his speech "We don't do that sort of thing here. We only do paid service so you tell me what service you want. If something comes under manufacturer warranty, we can not touch your camper until they've approved the fixes and payment for it." and the tried to tell me a horror story of how long I'd be making payments on a trailer I'm not using while waiting on approval and parts and that it's usually best to just pay for the service. I politely declined to agree to pay for anything and told him I had 4 items that are obviously not working right in our brand new camper and would like them to fix them so they are correct. After a few minutes of him trying to explain why none were actual problems and I didn't know what I was talking about he finally went and looked and agreed they are actual problems.
It's been 3 days and they've only reviewed 1 of 4 things that went wrong. The water heater. It's literally never been used until this trip and it did not work the very first time we tried it. Chris told us its NOT under warranty and then sent a picture of a very old and very used up anode rod and advised us it was $140 for them to replace the rod (a $15 retail part that is literally just screwing it in place and done).
Buy from Camping World only if you want their team to use illegal sales activities and work with a service depratment that doesn't honor it's word or warranties and will fleece you for any penny it can find, even if it doesn't deserve it.
When I called asking for a GM there was no one available. When I explained why I'm calling the receptionist explained that she's not allowed to "understand" what I'm saying because she's not allowed to write things down like I was saying. They apparently get enough of theses problems they are trying to limit internal documetnation of knowledge of their shady dealings.
My wife and I are now looking to surrender the camper back to Camping World and go find another seller. It'll be a huge hastle but I think it's worth not having the headache of ever dealing with Camping World again.

Helping out my elderly accidentally purchase more chairs than I needed and would not accept return via USPS... Had to drive an hour to do it in person only for them to spend another hour trying to figure out how to do a return. Manager apparently only will mail you a check so I had to wait a few weeks for that after driving in person to see. worst company policies... If you are unsure you best not buy.,.....

I’ve purchased two trailers from the Mesa location, and I can’t say enough about the outstanding service I’ve received. My representative in the service department, Erich, has been fantastic.
I’ve had two mobile services—my first was with Hunter, who did an incredible job and completed all work the same day, all under warranty. My most recent service was with Luca, who was punctual, friendly, and just as impressive.
Although his work order only included two of the four items I needed done, he managed to complete everything and even swapped out my batteries!
I've found that service in the RV business can often be lacking, so it’s truly amazing to have three different employees at one location who have provided such excellent service. Highly recommend!
