Stepping into this old bookstore feels like entering a literary time capsule. The musty scent of aged pages adds to its charm. The owner's passion for books shines through the curated selection. A haven for book lovers seeking hidden gems and forgotten tales. A delightful escape from the digital age

Horrible, grouchy owner. Enter at your own risk! No signs to not open boxes that are everywhere! Says the world has too many signs. Really?! And he will berate you to no end. Very arrogant and condescending. It’s a danger hazard to have hoarder lack of organization with boxes stacked so high. Bet his house is worse. Diseased I’m sure. Came out itching. Ew. $125 for a thin book 40 years old. Really?! Overpriced. Absolutely.

This place is horrible. Not only was he trying to low ball me on some books that I was trying to sell, but He was rude. It was a complete waste of my time and gas to even go over there.

There's a charm of chilly weather and the smell of books! Just stopped by to wander and peruse the children's books section but found some many good finds! There's an astonishing amount of classic literature, history, music, science - absolutely everything! Vintage books are a weakness for me and the dream to have a vintage book collection can be fulfilled here! They also sell gift certificates here so if you need a holiday gift - come by and see what you can find!

I love going to this place. It has some great books and a huge selection. I love the ambiance of the place; tall bookshelves that make narrow hallways and quiet classical music. I come here whenever I'm in the area. Never fails to make my day a little brighter. I think I could explore this place for days!

I love bookstores and this is one of my favorites. Every time I go there, I have had a great conversation with Randy, sharing our knowledge of books. He's also been very receptive to the books I've brought in for credit.

Great selection of books and the staff is helpful. They have some very hard to find books that are no longer available and not available online. It is recommended that you check with the staff if you can not find what you’re looking for, they are very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, Randy is really helpful. The place has a recent upgrade of new lighting and well placed markers for different sections. Although the place looks daunting, you will quickly find a section and find many good books. Bravo to Book Gallery for revitalizing this store.

The BEST book store in the valley and one of Mesa's oldest gems downtown. Filled with wonderful old and rare books. The atmosphere is amazing and the owner really knows his stuff.
