This pharmacy used to be good, now it is not good at all. The people are very slow and lines goes out the door. The new people hardly act like they care if there is 10 people waiting. The older staff was fast, moved the lines nicely and was very caring. Where are they now? New management is sucks!

The incompetence is overwhelming. They messed up my prescription, they canceled a prescription. Horrible staff.

I appreciate this pharmacy has some decently convenient hours. It's just a little difficult to find in a complex hospital. I had been admitted to the Banner women's ward here at the hospital 2 days prior, being treated. The doctor had initially sent my prescriptions to my usual pharmacy at CVS to pick up upon being discharged- but for whatever reason the crucial antibiotic I needed to continue immediately would not be ready for an entire WEEK! Not at all an option after the infection already landed me in the ER before being admitted, to begin with. It was a little difficult getting the script transferred- because good luck FINDING the on call doctor when they aren't on call anymore! However, this pharmacy was very helpful in the endeavor. They did diligently try to track down the doc & get everything transferred. Unfortunately only 1 out of 2 was successful, but that was the most crucial so it's still much appreciated. And, this was around 5pm on a Saturday. Very grateful they were still open! Both the tech and the pharmacist were very patient with me as I explained the situation. They not only tried, themselves, to contact the doctor, but also advised me on how to seek follow up on the second script. The wait time was not bad or too long- about 20 minutes. Right outside the cafeteria, so grab a snack while you wait! But, this pharmacy is not easy to find. I had to ask one of the ER desk employees to help navigate the maze of hallways... who kindly pointed out there is decent signage for "pharmacy" with arrows along the path. Just, finding your way back out is kind of another maze! I was able to get the crucial antibiotic needed. The help was appreciated & it's actually better than others. Only, it's more meant for patients being treated in the facility. Not where you'd want to typically have your scripts filled, but certainly better than going without. And, they do offer a host of OTC products if you are admitted & need something within the facility when unable to leave. I kind of wish I had known that while I was two floors above wishing I had some of my overnight supplies not expecting a stay! So, it's a pretty nice amenity on site. It could just use a better "waiting area". 3 hard plastic chairs outside staring at the food court isn't exactly ideal when the wait is 30 min or more. But, that likely isn't an issue if you're admitted as a patient with nothing to do but wander the halls to kill some time- pick up your scripts along the way!

For most stuff they're great. But as a guy with ADHD married to a person with a chronic autoimmune disorder who is on pain management, prepare to have them judge the s*** out of you and treat you like a criminal. We're both very familiar with what our insurance allows us to do regarding refills. But their pharmacists will do some creative math to make sure you can only get your 30 day supply of medication refilled every 34 or so days. You can literally pull out a calendar and a crayon to count the days like it's an episode of Sesame Street and they will tell you no. Have a 90 day refill of your ADHD meds you've been on for years? Tough s**** We're going to fill 30 days and then make you drive your a** all the way down here again in a month because we fill like it. Your doctor writes you for 90 days. Your insurance covers 90 days. Tough s**** They don't think you need a long term med......... for that long. And yes they do offer mail order. But the one time I had those meds shipped they arrived crushed and floating around loose in a plastic mailer. And if they get lost in the mail? Well tough s**** it's a controlled substance so you're screwed. It's not worth the risk. Last I checked they had the capability to look up how often controlled substances were filled for a patient at other pharmacies. It's easy to tell there is no diversion going on. But no, they are apparently a full-service pharmacy acting as both your pharmacy AND your physician. Banner claims to be a judgement free company that prides itself on understanding and diversity. Unless you're one of *those* patients.

Called and spoke to Jeff, he was nice and helpful. When the Dr didn't call it in and I spoke to him again, he was very patient and kind. Picked up my prescriptions and they were timely & efficient.

I called this morning around 11am and was told it was almost done and would be ready for pickup by 1pm, it’s now 1:30 and after spending 30 minutes trying to find parking and then another 10 trying to find the pharmacy I’m told it won’t be ready to pick up until after 6pm. I’ve been waiting on this prescription for a week.Update: responded to the email provided with the contact info they requested and still have not heard anything. Seems pretty on brand for my visit.

Called to ask a medical question, asked for the pharmacist, was told no, then when they guy couldn't understand the complexity of my question, he simply hung up on me instead of transferring me to the pharmacist. The audacity!!!
