Joke of an er. Came here by ambulance after a vehicle accident and they didn't do squat. Like the last accident I had 2 yrs ago. Nothing aside xrays of my arm when i clearly told them of my past medical from last accident. Not to mention my 1st accident, I slammed my head not once. NOT twice. But 3xs and complained about head and face pain and had a bad headache. Oh well you're talking fine so no need for testing. Well 2 yrs later and here I am with a TBI because I had a untreated concussion and haven't lived a normal life since. And still going to therapies to help. Here I am again today from another accident, was rear ended and still nothing. Not to mention i can hear the nurses poke fun at me that im fine im being dramatic that its just the pains from my last accident. Honestly I should Sue these people and the hospital for lack of medical attention that has now left me disabled.

not my own per say but what I just heard made me very angry!!!My mom basically stated that she feels that she is back in the dark ages. When she was first diagnosed in the Early 90's she was treated like a freak by hospitals and Drs alike. I'm not going to elaborate on a Google review post her actual diagnoses, but I can say that my mom went through hell growing up and found very unique coping method in order to survive the hell she went through. My mom has a long list of medical issues, and one of the things that I know that she's been dealing with since her Massive Stroke/Minor Heart Attack which happened at the same time when she was 49 yr old in 2003. She has had an on going history of blood clots for a long time since the incidents I just reported above in this paragraph. I am appalled and outraged that her Stroke and Cardio history is not being taken into account when she is showing up via Ambulance at your facility and being made to feel diminished because all the staff at Banner Desert is seeing is the Diagnosis I didn't mention in the first Paragraph.I just called her and she is almost frightened that they might be sending her back to your location, because of how dismissive she is treated there. Do better Banner Desert, just because a Mental Health diagnosis is top of my mom's aillments doesn't mean other things aren't wrong with her too.

I would not go anywhere else other than desert banner. I had 2 experiences between going there on an emergency visit. And then another time having surgery and every single person was completely amazing , caring and wonderful.

Do not deliver here if you want a stress free peaceful birth! The morning nurses and doctors were nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. Soon as 6 o’clock hit the energy was just different. My nurse seemed like she didn’t want to be there and my doctor was rude af I don’t know how she’s still licensed but trust me I will be looking into it. They were trying to force me on pitocin which I told the earlier doctor I wanted that to be the last resort and she was okay with that. The night nurse and doctor practically bullied me instead of letting me try other options to progress labor before doing that. The doctor literally told me and my husband that my baby was going to DIE when I never mentioned leaving the hospital. Who says that to a first time mom! Prior to them mentioning pitocin, I asked her how my bleeding was & she said it was fine & nothing she’s worried about but as soon as I said I didn’t want the pitocin she made it like I was bleeding out. They had me in the bed the entire time so I asked if I could walk to help with labor, she said walking wouldn’t help which was weird because every mom I know & even my doctor said I should walk lol. It definitely felt like she was just trying to get me in and out of the hospital. Her bedside manner was horrible! I’m leaving her name off the review but I will be reporting her to the board because there’s no way she should be able to make someone feel like that going into labor. After I told her I was going to try nipple stimulation (which she said wouldn’t work) I started having back to back contractions and do you know she or the night nurse never came in the room to check on me! They said they were busy lol I literally just had to hold out until 6am to get a new team who were amazing and able to get my baby here safely but I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!!! & if you haven’t already research pitocin and you’ll see why I didn’t want it unless I had no other choice.

This is for Dr. ANIL GAJARE and Ped nurse BOB, an older gentleman with white hair in the pediatric unit. By the time we moved up to the room we would be staying in, my son had already had 4 IVs put in him. The IVs weren't staying in. And each time we had to hold him down while he screamed and fought us. It was very traumatic for him. 2 IVs came out and were pumping the stuff into his hand and arm and he was screaming. So by that time we were pretty over having him get poked with another needle. We had Tammy first, as our nurse and she's amazing!! Then shift change happened and we got Bob. Then US tech Karrie came in to help assist in the the last IV he got. Then that IV came out and my son was screaming. A nurse came to help and check it and said "oh that's bad, they need to take that out, Do not let them keep this IV in." Then Bob comes in and I go "the nurse said this IV is bad and to take it out." And with attitude he goes "well I haven't been able to look at it." Then I said, "oh well she said it's bad." And he goes, again with attitude, "so she took all that off and looked at it?" I was like..."uhm she looked at the IV and said it's bad and we need to take it out?" THEN HE SAYS, "well then SHE can take it out." And he walks away. He comes back later because he went to go get another nurse to help him I guess. The tube for the IV ended up getting clogged so they had to change the tube (Which Bob did not do, he went and got someone else to change the tube...) After that the IV came out of my sons vein and Bob tried flushing it and said "it's hard to flush" meaning it's not in his vein so it's not working and we were gonna have to do another IV. So then our doctor comes in, this is the second time seeing him. Dr Anil Gajare. (The first interaction we had, was under 2 minutes btw) I tell him that my sons swelling had gotten better. He says with attitude, "it looks the same to me" Then he tries to convince us to put another IV in my son. We say no, because we're not gonna hold him down again. We need to come up with another plan. The Dr says, "the IV lasts for 5 days." I said, "but it hasn't last for 5 days?? It hasn't even last a couple hours." He then contradicts himself and goes, "well sometimes kids pull it out, no one likes to be poked" YEAH WE KNOW HE'S HAD 5 IVS. Then with attitude he goes "well your gonna be here for 48 hours, and you haven't even given it 24." I'm like yes we have? We've definitely been here 24 hours. So we ask if we can do oral antibiotics so we can go home. He says rudely "no you can't go home" Then, the nurse asked if we could do IM and give my son a shot instead. You could tell the Dr was so irritated. So they said we could do a shot, and his next dose would be at 3am. You would think Bob would take the IV out of my sons arm since there was no purpose for it? Nope. It was left it all night until about 7ish in the morning. I wake up a 345 and I'm confused because no one came in to do the shot. So 6-7ish rolls around Bob comes back and says well they wanna do blood work and I didn't come in & do the shot because I thought I'd I'm gonna Stick him again (implying, we should do another IV) AGAIN we said no, and he says, "well then I'll leave it up to the day doctor and nurse to come up with a game plan." Right then these 2 lady nurses come and they take the blood, not Bob. The one nurse says "we can't use this IV?" Bob's like, "well I couldn't use it." So she's like well then let's take it out. Then Bob leaves and never comes back. We never see him again. Even the nurses were like, "where did Bob go?" Bob also, stopped weighing my sons diapers which I thought they were supposed to make sure they are drinking but I don't know... So the 2 nurses then give my son the 2 shots. I wis

If I could, I could no stars I would. This is the worst hospital. It's supposed to be about the patient, but it's all about the nurses and Drs.I don't care how far away I live from Chandler Regional Hospital it will always be my hospital forever. I was hospitalized at Chandler Regional in August of 2021 for 7 days and Dec 2021 for 5 days. I was on different floors each stay. The nurses are freaking amazing. They care, they talk to you no matter how busy they are. The Drs. are Amazing. They explain everything to you. The nurses' aides are friendly and caring. Housekeeping @ Chandler is exceptional.Banner needs to take some pointers from Chandler Regional (Dignity Health) they know how to treat their patient's with care and understanding.

This hospital is a joke! A complete joke with inept, unqualified people there that don't care about helping people. People walk in needing help and don't get any professional help The staff there should be ashamed. They suck. .... Phillip Day...

Beautiful place, beautiful people. I am on the road to recovery. Thanks to Dr. Kelly Kantartzis and her staff. Love them all. They all deserve a 10 star rating not a 2.4 don't know where that came from
