AAA left a troupe of Boyscouts who needed help, stranded for 4 hours in Parks, AZ, outside of Flagstaff. Waited for 4+hours for a tow truck that never came and they had to leave their vehicle stuck at a gas station. What kind of company is this?

Very professional and knowledgeable. Went to another third party that was incompetent. AAA was efficient and no issue granting a temp title.

I love this place! I was surprised when I saw some of that past few ratings, but then remembered people mostly review when they're pissed and not happy. Then I realized I never left a review when I was super happy so here I am. AAA towed my car to the Mazda dealership and then while I was at AAA getting my rental I got the quote from Mazda for the fix. It was around $900, and just for fun I asked the AAA auto repair shop for a quote and they were only like $375! They then towed my car back to their shop (even though technically it was too far for it to be free, but they still didn't charge me) and did the repair for less than half the cost of the dealer quote! And the AAA warranty is 2 years/24k miles, and the dealers was only 1 year/12k miles. And the cherry on top was the rental car was way discounted since my car was at their shop. Very pleased with this shop, now I bring all our vehicles here!

This place should be shut down. I got an estimate for over $1k. I took my car to AAMCO where the repair was completed for less than $400! No deals or anything with AAMCO. They are double charging on parts and labor. You can see it in the photo if you know what you're reading. The parts are also increased by more than double (price compared to Mopar - OEM) I could've gotten OEM Mopar parts for 1/3 of the cost! Do not go here. This entire estimate is wrong. None of these things needed to be replaced for my repair. I was actually selling my things to afford this! I sold my phone to come up with some of the money... I didn't even need any of this stuff! Please do not go here.

Very disappointed. We got our original battery from AAA and it is still under warranty. We were concerned about the battery and had AAA come out to check it and possibly replace it because it sounded strained when starting the car. We were told it was fine. Then about a month later our car wouldn't start. We called AAA and they sent a guy to assist. The guy tested the battery and said it was fine and called a tow truck. The tow truck driver jumped the car, got it running, said it was probably not a charging system problem and most likely the battery. He said he would tow it to the AAA garage about a mile away. They kept the car overnight and the next morning ran a diagnostic and said they could find nothing wrong and to come and get the car. When we got there, the car was dead, and they now determined that yes it is the battery and they replaced it. But they charged us $80 for the diagnostic test which we never authorized and we did not need. We just needed the battery to be replaced under warranty. I posted this on a Yelp review and they immediately responded with an email address for me to reach out to them directly. I did, and they agreed that I should have never been charged. They said they would send me a check and it would take about 10 days. It is now July, over two months later and we still have not received our check. I sent a follow up email to see where the check was and received no response.

You live and you learn. This was my first and last time I ever visit a AAA auto shop. My car was towed in for a battery issue. It was a AAA battery so I was assured anything having to do with it would be free. After my car was dropped off, I was told when I would be notified when it was done. Long story short, they found an issue with my starter and "fixed" it by "whacking it with a hammer." Fine, whatever you gotta do I guess. So when I go to pick my car up, I was welcomed with an $80 charge to "diagnose" the problem. Never signed anything. Was never informed of any potential charge. This is why places like Firestone are much better to work with. They're much more transparent in their business practices, at least from my experience. To top it all off, the guy that checked me out was clearly having a day and was quite curt. Nice.

After years of service here you can now write this dump off and forget all about going here for anything at all. I have been an AAA member since 1986, now after the insurance being way over priced after having my auto and home owner policy with them for 14 years, now the auto service has started to suck s*** as well. My last 2 visits were pre planned and I had an appointment, but both times my service was delayed on Saturday's due to 2 out of 3 mechanics scheduled have called out sick, leaving only 1 mechanic on duty and totally backlogged, so that left my appointment times way off and just screwed the rest of the day. Well on Saturday 10/23 I arrived at 7:40am without an appointment, as I had a faulty brake light issue, I was told that there were 6 scheduled ahead of me, and that I understood, however the next announcement was that 2 of the 3 scheduled mechanics have called out sick "again " and that only 1 mechanic would be available in the shop today. Why bother even opening the f****** doors anymore, juts close up and get the f*** out of town and let someone take over that knows how to run an auto service center. If there is any f****** management at this location pull your head out of your f****** a** and fire the mother fuckers that continue to call out " sick " The insurance sucks, the travel is not worth or get what it used to be, and now the auto service has bit the dust as well.

Car went in to have oil change, tire rotation, new wiper blades and new cabin filter. Tires were rotated but air not checked since two days later I had to have air added in three tires. Technician said five year old wiper blades were ok. No, they were not. I had them replaced elsewhere and was told every two years was the best I could expect of a wiper blade. (Mine left streaks and were literally falling apart.). No sign that cabin filter was replaced since dust inside glove box was undisturbed. Lastly, I just had the tires replaced and was told they really should have been replaced some time ago due to age. Decided to write this review sometime later onlky because I finally decided I should put others on their guard.

Zero stars will be given to this AAA location until they can manage to update their website. Per the AAA website, this location allows customers to pay for their car tag and receive the car tag on site. Came here specifically for this service. Upon arrival, we were told that we could not pay for the car tag or get the car tag on site due to COVID. I am assuming they don't want to touch the car tag???????? Not sure what the deal is, however it is extremely rude to not post this information on the website. The AAA representative that we dealt with told us that we could go to the DMV, but they are backlogged for two weeks and we would not be able to get an appointment for another 2-3 weeks out. We were then told that we could go to Fry's or WalMart to pay for the tag, and then the tag would be mailed to us from the DMV. Just rude and a HUGE inconvenience to customers, who may have taken a day off or rearranged their entire work schedule just to come to this AAA location to pay for their car tag!

Unfortunately, started the day, with a dead battery, on my recently purchased used 2011 Kia Sorento. Popped the hood, saw that I had an 11/18, (manufacturer date), AAA battery, dead as a doornail.I had a spare battery with just enough juice to get me to 4126 E. Valley Auto Dr. Mesa, Az 85206.Walked right in the COVID-19, wear your mask, safe and friendly location at 1:32pm on a Friday, and was greeted promptly by Jason Rockey, a Service Advisor.I explained that I believe, I had a dead AAA battery, and could he help? After, I placed the battery back in for testing and purchase verification...he had Julio Salazar an Automotive Technician, meet me at my vehicle to aid with specifics. In less than 45 mins total,(invoice in hand, at 2:15pm), I was in and out, driving, with a replacement battery, and much stress relief. The 2 most professional and friendly gentleman, that I've done business with, in a long time, treated me like family, and I'm glad I had a AAA battery and roadside assistance membership. This location, as well as Jason, are recommended highly. Old fashion business treatment and values were much appreciated!Thank you Jason and Julio. I'll be back for oil changes and my other automotive needs!!!
