Way Out West Ranch is a sanctuary for rescue horses, where the animals are very well-loved, well-trained, and cared for. The host provides a short riding lesson with clear instructions before matching each person with a horse that suits their personality and experience level, making it great for beginners and unexperienced or intermediate riders. Guests learn about each horse's unique background and story. The trail ride itself is an easy, simple stroll on a beautiful, easy trail, offering a very fun experience. After the ride, guests can feed the horses snacks and take pictures. It is important to follow the specific directions provided on the website, not GPS, and to follow the gravel road to the parking area. The ranch is a lovely place for a relaxing and beautiful ride, highly recommended for a great time.
We loved the location. We loved the interaction with our guide. This ranch takes care of rescue horses. We love that. We really would have a hard time saying enough about our experience there. We look forward to going back.

Great place to enjoy a simple stroll on a horse. I learned a lot about directing a horse! Wife says she wants to take some of her friends back. Bring some cash for tips, follow directions and follow gravel road to the back of the house and past the dog /pig pens. We parked between horse and pigs. Bring water.
