We have been holding fundraisers called ‘Paint With Pigs’ with Ironwood for a handful of months now. Ironwood is such a phenomenal organization that shows such love to the creatures they care for. It is amazing the care and hard work they put into what they do. Check out their social media for ways you can support!

I loved this place! I have loved pigs since I was a little kid and I learned so much about them on the tour. Be sure to bring water cause even in cooler months your in the sun. I will be coming here again and again! I can’t remember our guides name but she was amazing!

This place seems to truly care for the pigs. The tour we took lasted over 1 1/2 hours, our guide knew the name of most of the pigs.

I have not had a chance to visit in person, but I am a long admirer and supporter of your sanctuary. I read all your stories and just LOVED the "first-person"pig story of Karen in your September issue. She is a pig I would love to know, she speaks her own mind, Good for her ! And the piece about the SPA! removing body parts !HILARIOUS. More stories like that please !Susan Kalev, New York, NY

Highly recommend signing up for the tour that runs on Saturdays through April. This is a wonderful sanctuary and to understand more about pigs and the care they require and what this amazing organization does for the community is a day well spent.

I have never been there, but the people are very nice, always sending pictures and thanks for donating. Poor little pigs, they aren't as cute as cats and dogs, so they probably don't get the amount of donations. I make sure they are on my ever growing list to send money whenever I can. I think it's just wonderful that they are helping them. Pigs are insanely intelligent, at least as smart as a dog and they deserve to be treated with some dignity. I stopped eating pork 15 years ago, now I'm vegetarian and don't miss meat at all. I wish all the animals and some of us could go back to Eden, where all the animals would be safe from the evils of "humanity" and we could all live in peace.

The pigs are a joy. I love it when they come up to me. At least one or two will follow you like a friendly pig. A lot of the pigs have their characters. I'm really glad they have a home where other pigs are practically coming from the same road. They have each other.
