I am a long time grooming client of Dove Mountain Vet for my standardPoodle. I had a standing grooming appointment scheduled forSunday February 18, 2024 which was rescheduled because thegroomer cancelled. I rescheduled my appointment for Friday February16th at 3:30pm. I received a phone call at 5:30pm stating that therewere two nails broken on Anton's left rear paw, one nail was bleeding, and a vague explanation that it must have happened when he was taken outof his crate. When I arrived to pick up Anton at Dove Mountain Veterinarians, no one apologized, no one gave me any further information, and in addition, I was told I would get a 20% discount off of the grooming. Iasked to see a Veterinarian to find out what issues may occur because ofthe broken toe nails. I am extremely upset about bringing my dog to getgroomed, and trusting that he will be safe and well taken care of. This certainly was not the case, and then being told I would get a 20% discount to have my dog suffer an injury at Dove Mountain Veterinarians? This is unacceptable.

Our sweet dog obviously was feeling badly for a couple of days, so I called DMV, not really expecting to get her in. But they did see her that day and the vet was very kind and helpful, sending us home with meds, which helped greatly. A tech even called the next day to see how she was doing. Great experience!❤️

I called with an issue for my cat and they were able to get me in the same day. I appreciated that they were upfront about the costs. Dr. Cambell was wonderful and our vet tech (I think it was Kelly) was very kind and attentive. They listened to our concerns and was able to diagnose the problem. I will definitely be bringing my cats here again!

We've utilized the clinic in the past and had a good experience. Recently we did not have a favorable outcome with a pet with a serious health condition. Unfortunately, the communication/records between customer, staff and practitioner was poor. Access to provider was restricted when we needed them them most. Proactive responsiveness was nonexistent when time was of the essence. Tests we had done were not interpreted correctly and proper routine diagnostics (according to the next vet we saw) were not conducted for the condition. It is difficult enough to watch a pet suffer in illness, but not having a reliable competent partner in the process of helping us through a difficult situation of figuring out the problem and solution was heartbreaking. The result was the animal suffered longer. Consider making a different choice for vet care if you feel you are not getting what you need.

I fell welcome and my pet cared for at Dove Mtn Vet. I tried another vet practice and it just wasn't the same. The care and professionalism at DMV is wonderful. This is my third dog that has seen Dr. Campbell. She's my pups favorite vet!

Loved the vet we had for the last three years, but this time we got a stand-in who was not the most pleasant. Next time, we will make sure we get our usual vet.

Angel saw Dr Carpenter for the first time. I thought she was very thorough and answered my many questions. Definitely will bring my other cat there to see her!

The staff here has really helped me navigate thru urgent issues with my 2 dogs since moving to Arizona almost 2 years ago. One of my dogs really does not care for vets, my last vet in Denver had to sedate her each time I brought her in. Dove Mountain has never had to sedate my dog to handle her. I love that. But what I don't love are the prices. This is really an expensive clinic compared to my old clinic in Denver. Everything is so much more expensive across the board. I have spent just under $7k in vet bills in just under 2 years. That is a lot of money! Do I get a frequent flyer card? They have taken great care of my babies though, so I'm still sticking around for now.
