Brought my 11 year old in because she wanted to try out bangs. Kayla was amazing! Very thorough when making sure she understood what my daughter wanted. She was very helpful recommending techniques and products for my daughter’s curly hair. She has a peaceful energy about her and she was so easy to talk to. The haircut came out SO cute and she told me this is one of the first times she’s ever left a haircut totally in love with what the stylist did. Thank you Kayla!!

I wish I had read the reviews before going to this salon where I had a TERRIBLE experience. I thought with the Aveda name I could trust them to have experienced stylists . I made the appointment for cut, color and highlights and told the appointment was at 12. I was told I had to pay a higher price for Brittany since “she was an advanced stylist”.I arrived right on time to be told my appointment was at 1230. I had the hair consult with Brittany and she had to have another stylist come over and tell her what to do and mix her color for her. She had me sign a form agreeing to the price which I couldn’t read because it was in Spanish. She then left me for 15 minutes to go help a different customer. The color and cut took 4 HOURS!! I didn’t get a style and the blowout was terrible. The cut was very uneven so she started over again and kept cutting it shorter which ended up shorter than I wanted. It was still uneven and she had to get another stylist to fix it and help her blow dry. She didn’t remember basic things like removing the wet towel for the haircut and blow dry, pushing the chair up higher etc which the other stylist had to tell her. She couldn’t figure out how to part my hair in the middle or straight and had to do it 5 times. I had to end up parting my hair for her. She kept brushing my ear over and over and hurting me. She also brushed my neck and forehead hard and scraped out with the bristles and dug hard into my head with the comb and poked my head with the clips. My haircut was improved a little by the other stylist but is still uneven and I’ll have to pay for a new haircut.I felt tricked into signing this form to pay a certain amount when I was lied to about her level of skill and how ver charged for her lack of basic skill. I’ve had much better haircuts at beauty schools and should expect a certain level of skill when promised it and other a higher price. I should be able to expect a better experience at an Aveda salon.

Nicole was very knowledgeable with how to manage my hair, a quality that has been very hard for me to find. I gave her my vision, as extreme as it was, and she made it happen. The hand massage was also a perk! I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely love this salon. Friendly and skillful stylists. I get my hair washed regularly with my amazing stylist, Briana. I have also gotten my haircut done by her and she did amazing! She takes care of my hair always

Absolutely recommend this place! Kayla did a great job on my clippers cut!I usually go to Great Clips for my cuts, but with her amazing customer service and styling recommendations Kayla has shown me that more personalized service is worth more than the in and out convenience factor of larger chain salons. Dillon does an amazing job. First he listens then suggests then listens more. I went from dark and hilited to grey! It is amazing! It wasn't cheap and it took a bit of time but I couldn't be happier. Thanks Dillon!

I do like this salon, but known as a " high end salon "Aveda"...should make sure the staff that is "certified" should be ready & knowledgeable & ABLE to cut various hairstyles that customers ask for. In my case made the appt. via phone call, didn't realize the cosmetologist they assigned me to was certified but still in training as during my haircut (simple bob cut) she asked 4 different people to check the haircut forher!!! SO BEWARE when u make your appt. to ask if the person they assign u to is an EXPERIENCED cosmetologist/hair stylist. On my initial phone call for appt. I did give my age info, my type of hair and the cut I wanted (a bob cut). Now the nice things about this salon is at beginning of the appt. u receive a head/shoulder & hand massage it's great. The salon was nice enough to give me nice $$credit the next time I visit, which I appreciate and will plan to get a trim on the bob haircut I received. I will try it again soon....will keep fingers crossed for a better experience (don't think I will go w/the same gal tho)....Service: Haircut

I really wanted to give this two stars because my first experience here was a haircut with Dulce and she was wonderful. However, the second time I went was so bad, it completely negated any positive feelings I had from that first experience. When I scheduled my appt I explained what I wanted - to go from red to bleach blonde and also get a haircut. They only scheduled me for a two hour appt and the hairstylist was rushed and having to have other people help her. Okay, that's not the end of the world. I didn't get my neck massage or hand massage that I should have with my paid haircut, but again, not the end of the world. The worst parts were that a) the stylist didn't listen to what I wanted with color and did a yellow blonde instead of the white blonde I wanted. The color wasn't terrible, but it's not even remotely what I asked for. b) the stylist got bleach all over my shirt. I could feel that my shirt was soaked, so I asked if there was bleach on it, and she lied and said no. I honestly wouldn't have cared about the shirt, but the fact that she lied is unacceptable. c) the worst part however, was the haircut. I went in with hair to my midback and I wanted it to stay past my shoulders. Without asking me, the stylist did a very edgy and ugly hairstyle with ragged edges that were extremely uneven. I told her several times that I hated it - literally hated it - and her response was "I think it looks like a cute bob and my next client is here, have a good day". I was dumbfounded and practically in tears. I paid and then immediately went to Great Clips where the stylist asked if I tried to cut my hair myself - yes, that's how bad it looks - the Great Clips stylist asked if I tried to cut it myself! So I spent $300 on a cut/color that was nothing like what I asked for and then another $20 at Great Clips where they had to chop my hair off up to my chin to make it look decent AND my shirt was ruined. I absolutely do NOT recommend this salon.Services: Haircut

Never ever have I felt compelled to break down into tears when sitting in a salon chair until yesterday when the "stylist" at this establishment started drying my hair (not very skillfully I might add) and it became very clear to me that I will have about two years to grow out the mess this place made of my hair. Being new to the area and several months since I've been in a salon, I used google reviews to point me to this establishment. In hindsight, having my choice of appt times in the next day or two should have been a red flag. I went in for a dark brown to light brown honey balayage, (my hair is naturally a dark to med brown with a few grays starting) and the stylist convinced me to do full highlights instead because the service I wanted would be too "high maintenance" and, according to her, I would need to visit the salon every four weeks for upkeep. My fault for trusting her course of action, but I am a low maintenance girl and cannot go to the salon every four weeks so I let her claims sway me. I now have damaged all-over bleached out hair with tints of ORANGE and perhaps the worst cut I've ever received from any salon. I'm sick about it and those of you who say return and let them fix it....how can you ever trust anyone at this salon to fix damage they caused when it's THIS BAD? Oh, and to add insult to injury this was the most expensive cut and color I've ever paid for. Highlights and a cut left me $350 lighter and googling for wigs. I am not only sick but too broke to get this fixed elsewhere. I hope this helps at least one person out there. Consider yourself warned.Services: Haircut
