Aldi in Laveen, AZ, is a welcome addition to the neighborhood’s shopping scene, offering a fresh alternative for those looking for affordable, quality groceries. The store is well-organized, clean, and efficient, making it easy to navigate even during peak hours. The modern, minimalist layout ensures customers can quickly find what they need, from produce to pantry staples.
One of Aldi’s standout features is its commitment to low prices without compromising on quality. Their in-house brands often rival, and sometimes exceed, the quality of name-brand products. The fresh produce section, while smaller than larger chains, is stocked with a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables that are typically fresh and well-priced. Additionally, the store includes a selection of organic and gluten-free items, appealing to health-conscious shoppers.
Aldi’s business model—bringing your own bags and a quarter deposit for a cart—encourages eco-friendly practices and helps keep prices down. While the staff is limited in number compared to larger supermarkets, they are generally friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
The only minor drawback is the limited selection compared to bigger grocery stores. However, Aldi’s Laveen location delivers on convenience, affordability, and quality, making it a great local option for budget-conscious families and shoppers.

This store is just as expensive as Walmart, Frys, and all the other grocery chains near it. When I lived in different states it was cheaper, but not this one. I've tried to shop here a few times and it's so expensive ? I refuse to go out of my way to shop prices that are same as the other markets. I was so excited for them to have a market near us, but it's too expensive for me to use. I am so let down! I'm so sorry but I'm not shopping there. Charge me a quarter for a cart, I need to bag my own stuff, and for what? The same prices as the other markets? No thank you!!

Starting to slack with keeping shelves stocked with items they normally carry. Chandler Aldi has those same items very well stocked. Step up your game.

I love shopping at this store. They always have a great variety of items and cashiers are always so fast.

The only REAL issue here is the rude cashiers. They, if not most, have no customer service etiquette. Management- look into this... I will still shop here but you all have the rudest people working for you. It's a hit or miss with the associate. If you emphasize customer service and just acknowledging your customers will better the experience overall. I read the reviews and actually agree with the customers about the attitudes we receive every now and then.

I’m a Phoenix native and had my first experience with Aldi back in Georgia 15 yrs ago! When we were living there Aldi became our go to grocery store! So when I saw they hit the AZ scene we were ECSTATIC!!!
They have all the food staples you need and then some! Great quality! Very reasonable price make you feel like you are getting your moneys worth. Will go here before I shop anywhere else!! Some folks are brand driven, however remember the foods come from the same warehouse! Not to mention where you gonna find specialty food items at a great price! If you ain’t been here you spending too much money on groceries!!

Aldi used to be my go to grocery store! Great selection of fruits and veggies but in the past few months the quality has gotten really bad. All the vegetables and fruit from here now have mold and spoil very fast, extremely disappointing.
