Georgetown location. Brought car in at 8:30 Wednesday morning for alternator issue. I called at 4 that day to check on status. I called again Thursday at 8:30 AM and was told they would call back on my home phone. I didn't hear back until I called at 3 PM and was told they left message on my cell phone at 9:30 AM. Then they said it was too late to order the part so they would have the car ready at 1 to 2 PM Friday. 2.5 days to get a new alternator installed is excessive. This location seems overworked.

Completely misdiagnosed oil leak issue. Charged an elderly lady over $3,000 to fix things that weren’t wrong and for extra work that wasn’t needed. Should be ashamed to still be in business. Stay far away from these jokers.

Pleased with quality of work.. after I paid, I see twenty extra dollars for environmental and shop fees charges. Original estimate was about $260, with explanation it depends on parts required. Final bill was $130 more. Extra filter was under $40. First filter was same price. Transmission fluid was $90. So, $130 for parts and fluid. $260 for labor and shop fees to change transmission fluid and filter and gasket.

I dont know if they realized i do reviews… ?Tried to charge me $65 to put in a tail light bulb I already had… Someone recommended i go here for AC work. They charged me $110 just to look at my car.. which is understandable. To an extent… then they diagnosed it with mulitple things wrong being blower motor and another $200+ part.. mechanic told me they had to take out dash to do the diagnostic which they didnt do. Honestly mechanic didnt seem like he even wanted to talk to me. I went to 3 spots today and you guys were the only one to charge to look at my car and you told me the same thing the other shops did.. $1600 total for them to fix an ac. I gave you two stars because Ryan seems like a good dude and the guy in office was on point. Just not the right price kinda feel i got ripped off. But now i know and ill put word out and wont be back… i recommend the place right behind jack in the box. They literally told me everything you did for free.. and fix is $350 kinda wild

Huge thanks. They were recommended by a trusted source. Took my 05' Ranger in for AC not working. Was totally prepared to pay $1000-$1500 for a new compressor. They discovered it was just an electrical relay. Had me in and out in 3hrs. Cost $106. They could have totally ripped me off, sold me a new compressor, and I wouldn't have known the difference. They even topped off the coolant tank for free when I mentioned I needed to get a gallon at the store. Good job and honest. 2 thumbs up.

Automotove Specialists are hands down the best automotive shop Ive worked with. I called around 2 dozen shops between Kingman, BHC, Havasu and the Vegas area for a quote on a brand new diesel engine for our truck. Less than 40% of them called back with a quote and of those we personally visited 5 shops to narrow down who we were going to trust with the 20k we were spending. Ultimately we stayed close to home and went with Automotive Specialists in Kingman. AJ and his team were spectacular! The engine was on backorder but once it came in they were prompt in getting itstalled and back to us quickly! We had a few issues since getting the truck back, one of which was MY error, but AJ opened up on a weekend even to get us taken care of and we coildnt be more satisfied with their service. Highly recommend them to anyone needing a mechanic. We will definitely be bringing our next project(s) back to them!
