Mike Hixson at the service desk got me in right away, quickly identified the issue, and ordered the necessary part, which was installed the very next morning in under an hour.
During the inspection, the technician also noticed an oil leak that signaled a potential turbo issue. Mike, the owner, took the time to go over the cost, explain the situation in detail, and let me know what to watch for to prevent further engine damage. I really appreciated the time and attention they gave to addressing my concerns.

“I pretty much ripped my muffler in half going through a muddy wash, still drove the truck for quite awhile then finally decided to replace it. After having a lot of bad luck in Kingman with various mechanics I decided to give him a try. I made the usual Kingman appointment and took the whole day off work just in case since my truck is my only vehicle. I left it at the shop in the morning planning to just hike around town and maybe check out that wagon trail hiking area. I hit Burger King across the street for starters since I hadn't ate anything yet. I didn't much more sit down to eat when my phone rang and it was the muffler shop. Uh Oh what is the excuse going to be now? Nope he called and said it was all done. I've waited a few months just to see if the welds fail and if it falls off but nope. For once a job well done and done in one shot way quicker than I expected. I highly recommend this place.”

“Saturday afternoon of a big festival weekend in Kingman, Az. We broke down 31 miles outside the city on the open highway with our big GMC Yukon and our trailer attached. Waited three hours for a tow truck. The sun was hot and the traffic constant and everywhere we called said they couldn't possibly see us until Wednesday or that they we closed. Not HRS, he was there for us! Tom was the best! He was clear, direct and honest. He told us, "have them tow it here and I will do what I can to get you safe and back out on the road as quickly as possible." He was a man of his word. He explained what he thought might be the problem, which it was. This guy works on racing cars, he knows his stuff. He had us fixed and back on the road within 24 hours - just like he said he would. Thomas is kind, considerate, knowledgeable, exacting and reliable. The price was fair and the work was well done. We feel so lucky that HRS was the shop that was open and the one who took our call. Our tow truck driver, when he arrived, asked us where we wanted him to take the car. We told him HRS and we asked him what he thought, he said, "Well, I don't know him personally, but I know he's a great mechanic!" And right he was! The experience of breaking down on the highway out in the desert is not a pleasant nor safe-feeling experience, but Thomas made everything better and feel possible! Thank you, Tom! You are a great mechanic and a wonderfully caring human being.”
