Excellent products and excellent customer service.. Was really impressed with the quality of products and craftsmanship. Also, the belt I got was too small and they were super accommodating in letting me return it for a bigger one. Will certainly recommend them to my friends.

Love Jerome and usually stop by Altai while in there. Have picked up several items over the years and always grateful that I do as everything I have from hear is made with old world quality to last for years and years. Some of the items I have from hear are daily use items (wallet, belt) and have lasted WELL beyond previous items purchased elsewhere and are still going strong. Stopped by a couple months ago to have my belt resized and was delighted to find that repairs are covered. (Check with them on your items.) Customer service and GREAT useful treasures.

Always a stop when we visit Jerome. The smells are free! And we always find a leather treasure of some sort. Our recent visit yielded a classic notepad holder. Handmade to last. For the really creative, they even sell bags of leather scraps so you can do your own thing. This shop is The Real Deal.

While in Jerome , some years ago, I purchased a beautifully made phone holster. Was totally happy with it. When I upgraded to larger phone I called from Florida and after a chat with a wonderful sales lady in Jerome , they sent me a new holster. No surprise, it was beautifully made and did the job. Great people and great products.

Love the artisan quality! These are leather products I've been searching for, High quality hand crafted belts for men and women. A huge range of sizes from xs to xxxl in belts and hats. Wallets, purses, hats, everything you need or can gift.I left with a lether fedora hat and belt in a merlot red hue tone. Zach was there to greet my fiance and I, he made me a black choker on the spot to fit perfect. Will be back for Christmas gifts! My fiance loves his black leather belt too, not flimsy at all. Has reinforced buckle and strap areas.

Stopped here on a trip to Jerome- So cool to see such talented leatherworkers here! So attentive, kind, and enthusiastic about their craft- The staff was amazing. The quality and array of goods was astounding as well- theres everything you need from wallets, apparel (shoes, hats, belts), many different types of bags and purses... It goes on! Will definitely be back.

I was having a very difficult time finding a belt that was short enough for my daughter. I found Altai Leather in Jerome,AZ and decided to make the hour drive. So glad we did. I was able to get a custom leather belt for her - I got to choose the buckle, the length & width I wanted, I was able to get extra holes and an extra keeper in case the end of the belt fell between 2 belt loops on her pants. She loves the belt, wears it just about every day. If she ever needs a new one this is where we are going. The customer service is amazing and the staff is awesome. Thank you for providing such an amazing experience.

The products Altai makes are great quality. I bought myself a mens wallet on this last visit (see pic) and my girlfriend purchased a purse and a belt bag. Her wallet she bought 3 years ago and looks good to this day. Looking forward to going back and seeing what new items they have.

The best in the West. I have purchased several items from them. I purchased a green hand made leather wallet from them more years ago then I care to remember and it has been the best wallet I have ever owned. You can not go wrong buying leather good from them. I also have several belts and a inkaid wolf belt buckle.
