“One of the best parts of a trip is meeting people and Leo was a find! We must have spent half a day looking at his stuff and talking. When my wife got hungry he closed down his shop and we went to lunch. SUCH AN EXPERIENCE! In the end we did not buy anything but we brought home such memories. As to the store. I would trust him to repair anything he said he could. If I needed a truly unique gift I would come here in a heartbeat knowing it's here.”
“This place was awesome. Tons of fun, old school kitsch as well as locally made native items. The person that worked there during my visit, Jodie, was very friendly and informative. I look forward to future visits.”
“The Painted Desert Indian Center in AZ, along old Route 66 is a must stop! Not only were the store keepers helpful and attentive, they took the time to provide information about the fine crafts and artifacts throughout the store.
Walking in we were pleased to see the store was filled with beautifully handcrafted art, pottery, statues, blankets, jewelry and so much more. It would be easy to spend an hour or more in here!
As we were on a time limit, we weren’t able to stay long. But I highly encourage people/ travelers to stop in and have a visit! 5 stars”
