FYI, I have used PB firewood various times, In recent years our trees were contaminated with Sooty Mold and Sooty Canker Fungus . I was informed of the situation by professional Arborologist, ASU & U of A University Master Gardeners. They all pointed out that it was likely brought in from an outside source, likey dead trees and/or lumber. This is were PB's wood comes in. I'm just trying to help others avoid the tremendous loss of trees, not alone the loss but the extensive cost e.g. thousands of dollars for replacement trees and professional treatment of the infected trees/grounds. Please inspect your wood before it contaminates your home! You can search the web for further information and details. If PB is reading, maybe you could treat your wood for infectious diseases prior to sales, it's a simple process of spaying your wood with a solution of one part of household bleach and nine parts of water...cheap and easy.

Had a very odd experience today. Prices seem to change at will and it was not a pleasant experience. Business must be too good because they don't care if they are rude. I've seen it happen with other customers maybe it was just my day..

We ordered a cord of wood and it came up way short. Evidently they make their own definition of a cord of wood which is not right. They would not make it right by us. Will not be a return customer.

I got tired of the mixes available at other nearby firewood yards that are so full of smelly, smoky eucalyptus. I got a cord of Alligator Juniper here and the transaction was super easy, pleasant owners, and the yard workers loaded my trailer very carefully. The wood is superb, best I've had in years here. Just a little expensive is all.

A large variety of wood at reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are always willing to assist. I have tried a few other places, but this is by far the best in the valley.

Great selection of different kind of woods and also small chunks that work perfect in a solo fire pit. Always great service and in and out quick. They offer delivery but we don't use that much wood so we pick up 5 bundles at a time when we need it.

Everything is organized here so make sure you know how much you want and what you want when you come. The quality of wood is good and I've been grabbing bags for a while as burn days had been limited. After reorganizing the backyard, I realized I needed to add some wood to stack and dry while at the same time burn occasionally due to the cooler weather. After getting 14cubic Feet of Juniper I also picked up some bulk chunks to fill up the Uhaul that are used for bonfires. I've gone through a lot of wood and may have to do another run and just let it dry out over the summer. The quality of the burns has been great.

Holy cow the lady that works here is super rude. I'm done. I'll drive out of my way from now on. In her defense, I don't know all the intricacies of their business and am deficient in identifying wood species by sight and did make the mistake of asking her a question after she made eye contact with me and asked me what I wanted. So, it's probably my fault for wanting to spend my money there.
