This is MY Safeway & I really like the "aged" employees who know what Customer Service is! Both in the store at the Gas Island! Guadalupe in CS, Josue in Butcher, James in management, Zuki, Jaime, Alex & Tristen, all great people! There are a few young ones who have the CS skills but there are few & far between! These great employees, plus some other are the reason we continue to go back. Please do not promote people on education or seniority, but ability! A degree/book smart does not make you skillful in your job! EXPERIENCE COUNTS!

This store is a haven for Trump Traitors. I had one start swearing at me because of my Biden sticker.....stepped up on rhe wrong person. Stay and don't give them your money. They promote them feeling welcome.

I don't usually shop at the Sahuarita store, and it doubt I ever will again. The management of that store is in some real need of improvement. I stood in line at the deli for 15 minutes, and the only reason I got waited on then was because 3 customers walked away. The real icing on the cake was waiting in line at the checkout for 35 minutes, I was number 15 in line waiting my turn, what happened to "3 a crowd". As a former head cashier for 20 years, I know what customer satisfaction is, and it certainly doesn't show at that location.

Super friendly staff, well stocked store. I was just in town visiting and it was not diifuclt to find what I needed. Great shopping experience, even when I needed a little extra help because I couldn't reach something, someone was right there to assist me.

WORST PHARMACY IN THE AREA! The staff just lie and make up whatever to get you off the phone. The ONLY EMPLOYEE YOU CAN TRUST IS JIM !! if you call and don't want to get lied to ask for Jim. Maria has been consistent at delivery of poor service. She often tells me the wrong information. For example this week I tried to refill my meds (it is also very common for them to not have stock of the meds you get there every month it's not a surprise. They know there is a demand ) so anyway I get Jim and he gives me an honest answer. He says it is out of stock and maybe tomorrow he will have it but maybe later. He's not sure. Ok. Tomorrow comes. I ask for the status Maria says "yes. We received the stock. No problem. I'm working on it right now. Don't call back I will text you when it's ready today." Well that never happened. I called on the third day, they said they never got the stock yesterday and they don't know why Maria would have told me that. I finally got the medicine after the fourth day. This is just this months experience. It is a bunch of lies and not having stuff almost every month when I go for medicine. Also when I picked up the lady handed me someone else's prescription. It was another person's antibiotics. Good thing I checked.

I usually never have any complaints of groceries store. Don't get me wrong I'm a regular customer here at Safeway where I get my groceries at and meals products. Compared Safeway to Walmart the Safeway meals products are cheaper than Walmart and always have special sales for during holiday days. And I ever have any complaints but this Saturday 4/20/19 around 7pm we came in to do some late groceries shopping for the house my girlfriend and I we didn't feel like wanted to cooking for the night and we bought a safeway beef signature sandwich for our dinner just a quick. We got home cut it in half, the sandwich looks delicious and fine. we ate it and guess what....3-4 hours later our stomachs were so upset and had diarrhea.... I don't know what was it that they put in that sandwich maybe the beef is old or something cause our stomach upset.. just not gonna buy their signature sandwich any more.Came here again 4/13/20 have to picked up some sushi from sushilin and came to did my grocery shopping real quick instead going to Walmart all packed. The store was slow came grab a few things. Seriously this Safeway manager need to try their staff how to be respectful to their customer and way they talked! This cashier "Gaby" is so rude in her mid 45-50s. Yes we know about this virus every one has to stay 6 feet away from each you dont have to yell from 10 feet away! "Stay back!" Seriously on the sign said 6 feet! And there was other guy in back of me and she yell at him. He was pissed off! He cussed off at her" stop f yelling at me!" Never coming back to store this store manager need to improve their customer service!

Have you ever purchased the Bakery Fresh Apple Pie before? Well, how many words can you come up with that describe human waste? That's it.These people should be arrested for theft after selling that to the public. Human Waste. Flush it out of your list of things to purchase. As regards Safeway, also no. Rude, dirty, clueless, pathetic. NO.

This Safeway is okay but there are a few things that they can improve on. One of those things that can be improved on is having more registers open during their peak hours. The second thing they could improve on is their Bakery department never seems to have alot of their baked goods no matter what time you get there. So you just have to hope they'll have what you need. As for their Deli and Meat department they are very well stocked with their items and always very fresh. The people in both of these departments are wonderful and respectful and knowledgeable people.

I'm amazed that my review was taken down. I rarely post a review but when I'm compelled to do so I feel my thoughts and opinions should be respected... I was in Safeway a couple of weeks ago requesting a refund on 2 items totaling perhaps $12.00 ... the customer service woman was rude and acted as if the money was coming out of her paycheck. I was made to feel like I was ripping off the store. So ... Safeway stop crying about a negative review and talk to your customer service person to treat the customers with respect!

What ever happened to customer service? Earlier this afternoon I stop by Safeway one stop was the Deli counter, 3 staff in the back chatting two of us waiting to be served no hi how are you I'll be right with you nope walked by the window servers times they did not acknowledge we were standing waiting for them. After 5 min I went on do do my shopping never to return to the Deli again other store in GV have Deli's so I won't need Safeway

Hard to believe that the Safeway Store on Duval Mine Road can charge more than a store in Tucson. Not only are Green Valley residents paying more for their gas, but now we find out that groceries are cheaper in Tucson. A recent ad showed that the ads were the same, but the prices were higher in Green Valley than in Tucson for the same product. I bet that Safeway wouldn't honor the Tucson price here in Green Valley. Stop shopping at Safeway - go to Frys or Walmart - but stay away from Safeway unless you like being higher prices.

What is the issue in the milk dept. that it rarely has stocked shamrock 2% lactose free milk in the cooler. The other Safeway location is no better! Keep the cooler full!

Much nicer location in GV, larger parking lot and not as dangerous. More of a selection and nice overall compared to other location in town. I reccomend going to this location if you want to go to Safeway
