I have been into this pharmacy 3 times in the last 6 weeks and I have experienced nothing but arrogant and rude behavior from the pharmacist. They are slow and very disdainful!

This pharmacy has become the worst pharmacy that I have ever used. The arrogant, condescending pharmacist that was hired last year is awful. He told me that my insurance company denied my prescription because there was no prior authorization. I told him that it was good for another four months, but he acted like I was stupid. After I called my insurance company and learned that HE put the information in wrong, I asked him what happened with the prior authorization. He said it was a "coding issue", and when I told him that I was right and that he was very condescending to me, he flushed and went into the side room. It's obvious that he thinks he can do no wrong. He drove the other staff away, and I wouldn't be surprised if many customers transferred their prescriptions to different pharmacies. I certainly am.*Update - the women who work in the pharmacy have gotten very rude also. If they don't like you, they deliberately delay filling prescriptions.

The women who work in this pharmacy are helpful & most are pleasant. The pharmacist is arrogant, obnoxious & insulting without even trying. He doesn’t answer the phone or return calls. What kind of pharmacist does that? I changed pharmacies due to this a few months ago.

I have used this pharmacy for many years. The staff has always been courteous and helpful, and I enjoyed getting my prescriptions filled while shopping. In recent months, however, there have been significant issues with things like not receiving prescriptions transferred electronically from multiple physicians. I have resorted to taking paper prescriptions in. This week, I tested positive for COVID, and my Doctor prescribed Paxlovid and a Cough medicine. The Safeway pharmacy app showed that the cough medicine was "in progress", but there was no order for Paxlovid. My doctor then sent an order for Paxlovid to another drugstore but it was delayed because insurance said Safeway was filling it. SAFEWAY DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! Since I am supposed to be isolating due to COVID, I had to ask a friend to go to the pharmacy to resolve the issue. I didn't rate this one star because of the nice and helpful staff.

Why don’t they answer the phone??I live far from the store and needed vital medicine which rx was dropped off in the morning. Tried to call them, to see if it was ready, for over 2 hours but no one answered! I came to the store only to be treated rudely by a female technician who said that there was something wrong with the rx. After finally straightening that out, I was told it would be another 45 minutes that I had to wait!I don’t think this pharmacy is worth anyone’s time. They appear to be lazy and apathetic! Really a shame to be treated like I am putting them out since I am the customer. I’m going to contact the District Manager about this to see what can be done.

Horrible service by an incompetent staff. They'll short you on your prescription and not even apologize. I'd give them a zero if I could. They often don't have in stock what you need and will not have your prescription ready four days later. So you'll have to wait while they take an hour to fill it. Go to Walgreens, one pharmacist there told me when they didn't have what I needed. How they stay in business must have to do with all they old people they've screwed one way or another!

This Safeway is a friendly store. Had to pickup meds n a few groceries. I got home n noticed that I left my purple cane in the cart. Went back n called them.They found it. A young women graciously walked out to the parking lot to give it to me. Thank you, so much.

They are always very accommodating to me and have delivered my prescriptions to me in my car in the parking lot when I am not able to go inside! I have experienced great customer service from this pharmacy and that is why I go there!!! I thank Maria for her smile and great service for me!!!

This Safeway pharmacy used to be great. What made this pharmacy great were the employees behind the counter but they all left unfortunately. Right now it is full of new people and the customer service is not good. Since they are new I will give them a chance and see if the customer service gets better. If it does I will update my review. If it doesn't get better then I will leave this pharmacy and I will update my review about that as well. I really hope they turn the attitudes around and get better at their jobs to help out the customers who need their help.

Used to love Safeway pharmacy had really good people working there that were willing to help you now they give you attitude and act like nothing that they do is wrong have now transferred to CVS after 10 years of being with Safeway pharmacy quality has really gone down miss Jim he really knew how to treat the customers and Maria and danessa we'll miss them but the new stuff that has taken over is not customer friendly

they have a HUGE issue with their computer system. I am continually overcharged as are hundreds of others. just for u items, even though clipped, are not showing up as the clipped price on receipt. they are ignoring the issue
