I love Dr. K. She doesn't sugar coat it, and that is so refreshing. She loves animals and it shows. Thank you for being you and doing a fantastic job with my 4-legged children.

Fantastic place. You go back with your pet, they don’t just take them away. Thought my boy had a major problem but was assured he was fine. Got a thorough exam without stressing him. Dr Sophia spent a long time answering ALL my questions. She was the first vet in G. Valley and has been here for 50 years! Great staff and the bill was half what I expected. Why would you go anywhere else?

I would give zero stars if I could. Listen to the bad reviews, they are REAL!! I have 4 separate times that we did not have good experiences with this office. I will say, the front desk employee and young vet tech are amazing and super friendly and nice. They care about the people, pets, and truly the only good people in the office.1. We took our 10 week old pit/bull dog mix in for a check up and she immediately started talking down on the breed with rude comments. I grew up with bully breeds so I ignored her comments but left feeling uneasy.2. Our pug had a swollen leg one night and wasn’t walking on it. We were able to get into the vet within 2 days where she said it was a snake bite but couldn’t confirm it since she couldn’t find any puncture wounds on his leg. She wouldn’t give him anti-venom because she said it was too late and gave him 2 different shots instead. That day we did see improvements in him and thought things were going to be better.3. The day after our pug received the shots, he developed a rash on his inner leg so we take pictures and immediately call the vet. We told her we had pictures we could send in or we could bring our pug in, she said she knew what we were talking about and that the rash is the infection trying to get out. She told us that it’s going to look worse before it gets better. Within 24 hours he got way worse, the rash was growing and changing colors, and he wasn’t drinking water or eating any food. We take him to an emergency vet in town where they told us he’s hours away from passing away on his own and we had to put him down right away. The vet here at Green Valley said she has never lost a dog to a snake bite, but now her record isn’t clean and has lost a dog to a potential snake bite.4. Today we took our now 6 month old pit/bull dog puppy to the vet to get her ears checked out. It was an appointment that we waited a week for after she’s been scratching so much her inner ears are bleeding. She’s a puppy and scared of new people and places still, something we are still working on with training. She walked in to see my puppy curled in a ball in my arms, shaking, and slightly growling. She said if this is how my puppy is going to be, she doesn’t want us as a client. She refused to see us, refused to look at my dogs ears, and almost refused to give me any advice. I kept arguing with her and she finally told me to go to the pet store and get over the counter ear cleaner and to find a new vet. She said with my dog we would have to put a muzzle on her and no one wants to do that. She told me that she’s in her 80’s and isn’t dealing with animals like mine anymore. I left the office crying, I told her that she shouldn’t be a vet if she allows animals to suffer, and thanked her for not helping our other dog which resulted in him being put down.100% find a different vet and listen to the reviews. It’s time for this lady to finally hit the retirement home.

Dr. explained reasons behind why she was prescribing certain things and how they would impact the dog. She treated us with respect and kindness. She also did procedures in front of us for the most part which was comforting.

The absolute WORST veterinary experience in 25 years of animal companionship! If I could give zero stars, I would. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Went in for a first puppy visit and while the front desk assistant was very nice, the veterinarian herself was rude and unprofessional from the moment we stepped into the office. Just a tip: if you hate your profession that much, it may be time to retire! Not only did she not do an actual exam on my puppy - which is what we paid for - she didn’t ask any questions about him or his health, made multiple ignorant comments about his breed, and was very rough when giving his shot. When I tried to ask a few questions, she rolled her eyes and gave short, rude responses. I asked if I could pay for an ear cleaning and she rudely replied ‘you need to learn to do that yourself.’ Which I know how to do on my adult dogs, but was hoping to have done in-office since he’s a puppy and I wanted to make sure it was done correctly. The exam room was also unclean and the table clearly hadn’t been sanitized - dog hair everywhere. Worst experience EVER. It’s too bad that ignorant, outdated veterinarians like this are still in business.

Dr. Sophia and her staff were great. This was our first visit and I would absolutely bring my dogs back. The pricing was fair and there was no push upsell like so many of the veterinarian's we have been to over the years. Great service!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with an absolutely unprofessional veterinarian. She was so rude and bitter that it's clearly time for retirement or a change of profession! As she said herself during my dog's visit, 'I just don't care,' and that truly summed up her terrible service. In 25 years of animal companionship, I have never had such a negative experience ANYWHERE. She was rude from the moment we stepped into the hallway and made many ignorant and outdated comments about my dog's breed. She did not conduct a first puppy exam - which is what we paid for - failing to check eyes, teeth, body, etc and asked ZERO questions about his health and behavior, opting instead to make snide remarks. She even rolled her eyes when I asked questions, gave short, rude responses, and was rough when giving his shot. She even declined a simple service such as an ear cleaning. It is so unfortunate that terrible veterinarians like this exist! I hope everyone avoids this place! You'd be better off taking your dog to Circle K, at least they're friendlier and you'd get more competent service!

Horrible. Horrible. HORRIBLE! I rescued a cat a few months ago, and recently she started behaving strangely and lethargic. In addition her litter changed color. Obviously I was concerned so I made an appointment. I made sure to call ahead and inform the staff that the cat was "extra spicy" and basically feral, and the staff assured me the vet was fully equipped to handle such a situation. Unfortunately she was not. She didn't even introduce herself before she started to berate me and my mom over the fact that the cat was upset. She continued on and on asking what we "wanted her to do with it" and she demanded I give her a PH test of the urine (which I did not have, nor was I asked to take one) She raised her voice at us when we tried to explain that we called ahead to inform them of the cat's temperament, and she said SHE wasn't informed and only NOW did we say anything so how was she expected to know?? I don't know, maybe the vet should have communicated with her staff that is doing the scheduling instead of berating her clients? She then went on to insult us and threw the blame on us, saying she is just an old lady in her 80's and can't handle cats. I'm sorry if you're too old to handle animals, you should NOT be a vet. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I was not letting this crazy "vet" anywhere near my poor little kitty. She was already extremely anxious and the raised and angry voice from the vet did not help. I left almost immediately and did not let her touch my cat at all. My poor cat was hyperventilating in the car on the way home. Do not bring your animals to this place if you actually care about them. This "vet" is unprofessional and does not care about her clients or her fluffy patients.
