Put a retainer deposit down on a vehicle, arranged flights for wife and I to travel down the next weekend to finalize the deal. Sold my personal truck when the new truck arrived at the dealership. Called the dealership to inquire as to when we could arrange e-sign and down payment. The truck was transferred to another dealership 100 miles from their location. Vehicle had sold sign in the window and keys were put away for my arrival. I sold my truck, set up finances, booked flights and was told you can contact the dealer it transferred to and negotiate a price; after price and payment had already been agreed upon. Highly unprofessional and frustrating as a consumer. Now we have booked flights and one less vehicle. No accommodation whatsoever.

We bought a 2022 Buick Encore about 2 years ago new when driving off the lot I noticed the breaks squeaking and I was told they may have dust I let it slide I was not happy to get a new vehicle and the breaks squeaked. Then the check engine light came on about a few weeks later I called brought the vehicle in they day I made the appointment and time welp that was not the time and day they were going to service the vehicle I had to wait for almost a week. After complaining a day later I got the car back. Welp check engine light came on right the next day… and I had to take it back. Now to today have have brought my vehicle back a few times for check engine light issues and the service is horrible when it comes to when they service your vehicle to when they make the appointments. It makes me very angry that you make an appointment and think ok they are going to look at it then to nope you don’t hear anything for 3-4 days and then to top it off the rep you work with guess what it’s their day off so add that day to your not gonna hear anything. Like come on isn’t this a place of business lack of communication to their customers and why so many service issues this vehicle I bought brand new for this reason. This last time around I brought my vehicle for an oil change and week 1/2 later check engine light is on… now I need to make an appointment to bring my only way of transportation to be seen and diagnosed 4 days later to when they will actually repair. Who came up with this process??? This needs to change my husband brought his truck about a week ago again only vehicle he has and guess what no communication and the day he thought he was gonna get it guess what the rep is off that day to today welp the truck will not be looked at to possibly tomorrow???? We’re is management in all of this????

I just left a service appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I had an appointment and waited 2 hours. When my vehicle was finished they couldn't even run it through a quick wash or put the customary sticker with next due mileage on my windshield. The only good point of my 2 hour wait and overall experience was that the parts department still had an accessory I ordered in FEBRUARY that they never called to tell me had arrived.

I flew in from Nebraska to buy a car from Yates Buick GMC, and it was hands down the worst car-buying experience I hope to ever have. We wired the full payment, which they received by 10 AM CST the next day. We arrived at the dealership at noon because the salesman told us he wouldn’t be in until then. Even though the car was fully paid for, my brother and I sat in their lobby for 3.5 hours, just waiting. We still had to drive back to Nebraska, so the delay was beyond frustrating.
The excuse? The "finance department." When the finance guy finally showed up, he was unbelievably rude. I had repeatedly told them my dad is nonverbal and couldn’t sign the title in person, and they assured me it would all be handled via DocuSign. But the finance guy insisted on calling my dad, even after I explained, again, that he can’t speak. He arrogantly told me, “Yeah, uh, I need to talk to him. Can’t really do it without calling.” He then walked over to what I assume was his boss and left us sitting there even longer, and it really felt like he did this out of spite because he was upset about having to send the DocuSigns over text.
The Yates Advantage plan was another mess. The salesman told me about it early in the negotiations, before I left Nebraska—not at the official sale. One of them removed it without me even asking, and another salesman tried to claim, “I’ve never seen my sales manager do this in the five years I’ve worked here.” Total nonsense, just like I’d read in other reviews about their shady practices.
Before we sent the wire, the salesman agreed to bring the price down by a maximum of $61.10, saying that was absolutely the best they could do. It made it a whole number, so I guess that made sense for us. But then, right before receiving the keys, the salesman comes up to me and says that the amount they agreed to come down by is now owed?!!! I paid it because I was honestly just fed up and wanted out of there. I have text proof of that agreement as well.
Adding insult to injury, they didn't even bother to service the car before I picked it up, knowing full well I was driving over 1,000 miles back home. It’s incredibly inconsiderate and shows just how little they care about their customers once they’ve got your money.
As a 20-year-old female, I felt completely taken advantage of. These people are terrible negotiators, outright liars, and they crossed every line in the book. If you’re going to sell items, at the bare minimum, at least be professional. This experience was so bad it’s clear why they’re stuck selling cars. I should have walked away the moment the salesman blatantly lied to me, but what’s done is done. They got their sale... Avoid Yates Buick GMC at all costs if you want any semblance of a decent car-buying experience.

I have brought in my vehicle a couple times for a strong coolant smell. The mechanics have not been able to figure out why it smells of coolant. They did a pressure test for two hours and was told that it did drop pressure but that's normal. I believe if you do a pressure test, it should hold pressure the entire time And they told me it was the pressure test equipment that slowly drops pressure. I also was told that it could be coming from the little vent tube coming from the front of the truck.
They had my vehicle for more than 15 days and when I drove home, parked in the garage, there is still a very strong smell of coolant.
There are other truck owner that are experiencing the same thing I am and they’ve submitted pictures of a hairline fractures in the radiator.

I've always taken my GMC Yukon to the GMC dealership for any issues. Recently, when my check engine light came on, I took it to them. After holding the vehicle for three or four days, they resolved the problem. However, two months later, the check engine light came on again. I dropped the car off, and three days later, they told me it would cost $860 to replace the fuel pressure sensor. I decided not to proceed with the repair and mentioned that I might just get rid of the car. They simply said, "OK, just pay the $199 diagnostic fee."
I explained that a reasonable person would conclude that, since I brought the car in for an issue I had previously experienced, there shouldn't be a diagnostic fee u would have had to look at it anyway.
In the end, I took my car over to Gateway Chevrolet at 7 AM. Despite there being at least 20 cars lined up in the service center, they fixed the issue the same day and charged me $400 less. Faster, cheaper, and 100% better—I should have been coming here all along.?

It all started when a girl met a truck online. I sent an inquiring and the following morning Robert/aka Bob reached out. From there we set up a time to meet and i fell in love with the truck. I don’t normally move so fast, but i couldn’t resist. I had to get that truck home!
