Please come here: if you like to be ignored for 30 minutes then redirected to the wrong area, have staff that you didn't make an appointment with tell you that she can only do 1 of 2 services because they have "other client" appointments. The manager had a deer in headlights look while listening to your complaint. The staff who misdirected you leaves a message asking you to come back so they can make it right. You call Ulta Guest Services who take your complaint, but as of this review have yet to follow up. Ulta staff wasted my time & gas, but did not get a dime nor will they ever. Ulta was given weeks to deliver a humble apology before this posting, but since their customer service is nonexistent. So be it!

I like the store itself but will not be going to the salon again. I don’t usually get my hair done often but I thought I’d treat myself to get a full highlight. My hair was probably a lightish brown and I was aiming to go for a blondish balayage. I ended up leaving completely ginger….I told them that although I wanted a neutral blonde that I was fine with a warm blonde if my hair doesn’t lift enough. They said my hair lifted fine and what I wanted was achievable but put red toner on me and now I’m stuck here with ginger hair.

If you want a new style or a simple everyday look. Go somewhere else, find someone else, or for kicks and giggles, try doing it yourself. The end result might be better than the experience I had. I made 2 appointments, 1 for my daughter who wanted to try a new trendy yet simple chic style and 1 for my son. I was so excited to see their website offered fades. It's under the Clipper Cut option. More on that in a minute...Our stylist was professional and friendly, looking back on it now it's possible she was a beginner/new stylist and that's OK, everyone has to start some where, but if you don't feel confident, or comfortable with cutting to an individuals faces then please, please say something especially before you chop off over 3 inches of a young ladies hair!! My daughter was in TEARS, and she hated the cut. Once we got home, I started styling it and noticed it was super uneven and jagged all throughout...As for my son she started his fade and it was beyond bad, that's when I realized she had no idea what she was doing the fade lines were very visible not smooth or a fade at all. I took I picture to show his dad since he couldn't be there. I politely asked her if she could smooth it out a bit more. I wanted to make sure I wasn't overthinking it. That's when the senior stylist came over. She was very aggressive with me from the start.. she said, in a matter of fact, way. "What are we doing over here?! I explained the style I wanted for my son, and she said that they are not barbers and they are LICENSED cosmetologist," and for services like that, I need to take him to a barber. I was confused, shocked, and a little taken back by her approach. I had to question myself... did I make this young stylist feel bad? Was I rude, demanding, or aggressive?! No, that's not me.I deal with people and the public every day. I fully understand that with the proper communication skills, we can resolve so much and alleviate further conflicts. She tells me she is taking over to smooth out all the lines and continues to talk to me like a child. She explained that they don't have the tools for this job. They need a straight razor?! I know it is a lie because he is under 10, and NOONE has ever used a straight razor on him. As she took him back and proceeded to wash his hair with this frustrated demeanor. I try to bridge the gap and find a resolve to whatever frustration she may be having since my son is in the middle of his haircut. I tell her, is there something I did wrong?! I'm confused because the website clearly says you guys do fades under clipper cuts. She calms down a bit. As the other stylist looked over at her for her response. She said that they just are not barbers, and for that, you need a barber, again with the straight razor and blah, blah, because she was not making any sense talking in circles.To my fellow consumers, know that your dollar is your vote. People who mistreat and abuse your kindness because they think your kind and stupid are selling themselves short.So, I will honestly share the mistakes I made. There were a few. This way, you dont experience what I did.1st mistake, booking with their salon, 2nd staying and allowing them to finish a mediocre job, and 3rd that I actually paid for this poor service. I had no idea you could refuse to pay if they messed up!

This Goodyear location is the worst when it comes to service and business. Looks like they don't need money... I was booked for a hair consultation and highlights and after telling what i wanted to the so called specialist he said he will charge me $50.00 per 30 min on top of hair highlights and it would take 6 hrs i said ok lets do it and then he said he dont know if the color will be lifted or not and clearly not interested of doing the color.. i said i can manage my time but he was adamant of not doing it and said ohh it's this and that... well i walked out and gave call to jcpenney they immediately ask me to come over Did the beautiful highlights on me the same day with half of the price they were asking with their normal stylist and for me the girl who did my desired color i would say is the specialist of all as my color lifted within 2 hrs and i was free at perfect time 5pm. Thank to ulta for losing my business.

I wish this location was clean, and the sales associates wouldn't try to get you. You buy other products that are 3 times as much as the product you went in for.
