This store consistently has no cashiers to ring you out, whether it's a Friday night or a Monday morning.
Friday night, i had a basket full of groceries worth over $300 and had to use the self check out. This is ridiculous.

I finally decided to write a review . This is the worst safeway I have been to and we have traveled over several states. We live in Estrella mountain and this is our only option without heading down the hill. The cashiers are not helpful and actually have been rude. The end of transaction! I think Safeways system is ridiculous. IF you have your club card .. that should be sufficient. We shouldn’t be required to SCAN items w our phones ect. Why do I have a card ? Also half the time ( this store in particular) you scan your card at check out and discount is not given. You assume it did because you scanned card and did the Hokey Pokey but nope didn’t give you the discount price. If you mention it to cashier at the end of transaction like advised , that you didnt receive sale price THEN you are directed to Customer Service ( where you have to plead your case ) for a refund . So many unnecessary steps for a sale price that should have been automatically given to you w your card !! 🤷♀️. I really think this store will not be in business long w the customer service protocols they have currently. It’s sad ! It could be so much better , SHOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER .

It's a bit overpriced and the selection is not the best. The staff is friendly and it's nice and clean.

Horrible customer service the two lady's up front I feel they didn't want to him me because the color of my skin I will never step foot in that sore again this wasn't the first time I felt this way I'm so sick of it and I think one of the lady was a manager

They don't have a couple of mexican items that I like, so I have to go Wal-Mart to get them, and when they run out of stuff, don't always count on going back in the morning because it might not be restocked. The employees are really kind and professional, which is why we love shopping here.

They called the cops on me while I was working on an instacart order. Nobody asked me any questions. I spoke to no manager, they went straight to calling the cops on me. There's more but I don't want to write a novel. So I stopped doing instacart.

I went to Safeway to buy some of the sale items. I rarely go to Safeway so I am not familiar with how to use the digital coupons. I downloaded the app I quickly learned it is not at all intuitive. I needed help at the self checkout and the young girl was very rude. She helped me, but with an attitude. I guess it's hard to find good help. I probably will not be back.

I bought an ice cream cake for my husband's birthday. I was so extremely disappointed. There was barely a few lines of ice cream you could not even taste it or see it. No need to freeze the cake. Never again.
