Had a terrible experience with groomer as well. My Maltipoo had a small matted area that we made groomer aware of. Groomer shaved my maltipoo completely bald and we were charged $90.00. This is lazy grooming practice and we'll be going elsewhere. My 9 year old cried when he seen his dog today.

We had to put our old lady girl down which is never easy but Dr Rimbey and her techs were so compassionate and went above and beyond making her final moments as good as they could be. Thank you for your kindness, it means so much!

Regarding the groomer !!! I went there to get my Yorkie a hair cut he’s only 4 months old the groomer there told me he was extremely matted and she couldn’t cut him that he needed to basically have an extremely short cut because of it !! So I picked him up and he was completely bald and looked like a rat !!!!! And I paid $150 after I was quoted $65 over the phone

I understand if he had some matting but it’s a Yorkie with human hair that should’ve been detangled and not just shave the entire dog !!!! Not going back here for a cut again

Not only an amazing vet office, they are great business neighbors as well. They took great care of our Coco and Oreo. Thanks a bunch. Very polite and attentive.

Worst vet I've ever gone to and I'll regret it forever. I took my dog in because he seemed in pain and a lump was forming. The assistant was just terrible and looked lost/confused when I asked her simple questions. She had to keep checking with the vet and asking them for help with simple tasks like what ear cleaner was. Ultimately, they just summed it up to be arthritis and wrote me a prescription for pain. 4 months later, he died from cancer. That wasn't ever discussed as an option in the appointment.

During a hard day saying goodbye to our sweet dachshund, Dr. Afek and her staff showed so much compassion and support. They made a really hard experience much more manageable. Thank you for treating our little guy over the last few months Dr. Afek. We will miss him so much.

This is the worse experience I have ever had at a groomer. She completely ignored what I wanted my dog to look like and was the rudest, most disrespectful person I have ever interacted with. She upset me so bad I went to my car and sobbed. There is no reason for that kind of behavior. My dog looked so bad, she completely did the opposite of what I said. Avoid this groomer at ALL COSTS! I have been happy with the vet so I assumed the groomer would be fine, I couldn't have been more wrong.

I cannot in good conscience give any stars for what I experienced today at Northstar. In fairness, I do have to say that my experiences with the veterinarians (and for the most part technicians) have been very positive. However, today I took my puppy in for her first grooming and had an extremely disappointing experience. The groomer was very inflexible and condescending. I chose not to stay for her services and will not return.

We took two of our New dogs we adopted from pound in. We liked them so much we will be transferring all of our dogs to their care. Really nice staff and I really liked the vet.
