Normally I do my taxes online through H&R Block, but there were some changes in our household for this past year. I went in to the office to get some clarification.
Alicia clearly did not want to talk to me at the beginning of our meeting. She asked if I had been a client for a couple years. I said yes. Then she asked why I was there. I explained my problems. She had no answers for them. She said she would have to go to the back room to speak to someone. She was gone a couple minutes. It was like being at a car dealership where the salesperson must run away from a customer to consult with a their manager. She came back and said she didn't know the answers to my questions. I asked if she should know, considering what she does for employment. She said she did not. Then she saw someone in the middle of the office and left again, this time for longer. She came back and wrote something on a paper. Then she stared at me wondering why I was still there. It was just a huge waste of time.
Alicia had no advice to give me and did not even offer to help file my taxes. I feel like H&R Block should employ me as I would have at least offered to help file a client's taxes. Fortunately, there are other services I can use for my taxes.

Their tax "pros" don't even know what the different filing statuses are. Went in for help today and got laughed at by Alice who said she is unable to help me and didn't know what filing as head of household means.

Liars. They committed fraud against me, only act like they care when doing your taxes but if something is wrong afterwards, "it's not their job." To help with care and urgency as they did trying to get you to sit down and pay and they will tell you what you want to hear until they are finished and don't keep up there end

Spent 240 dollars to do the same thing I can do on turbo tax. The costs of services was never explained. I just moved to Arizona from Indiana so all my state taxes were filed under Indiana. The tax professional had 0 understanding of Indiana taxes and I am confident he did them wrong seeing as I have never owed that much to the state of Indiana ever when filing taxes.
