No professionalism .! Worst service ever rented a car with them and payed everything because I was going on a trip ,I arrived before check in time for pick up just for the lady to tell me I couldn’t pay with a debit card or cash only credit and told me there was additional fees they should of said that before hand and not time of pick up.!! They didn’t give me the rental and I had to go elsewhere , was almost going to cancel my trip because staff was not helpful at all and had an attitude . Never going back to this place , they should find better staff..

Do Not Rent from Van Buren location!!!! I came to Az in Sept of 2023 and rented from Hertz at the Airport. I had the best experience. Naturally when we planned our trip to AZ March of 2024, I wanted to use them again. This time it was the absolute worse experience I have ever had! I wish I could give Tammy a -1 star rating. As I walked in I greeted her with Hello and got what’s your name and I need your credit card. No smile, no hi, she was not friendly at all. In January I reserved a minivan, she told me they were all sold out. I said I have called you guys 6 times since I rented this vehicle and nobody answers the phone why is that? Her response I don’t know. I gave her my debit card that I had reserved the car with, she tells me that’s a debit card I can only do credit cards. I asked why do they let you reserve it with a debit card then? She just stared at me. I pulled out a credit card that I don’t use, it still had the sticker to activate the card. She said that’s declined, I told her there is no way, it must be bc I didn’t activate it. She said I can’t try it again for 24 hours. I said what am I supposed to do? I need a rental car, I used me debit card to reserve it. I don’t have a bunch of credit cards. Again, she is just staring at me. I asked for her name she said Tammy. I said do you have a business card? She said no. I said what’s your last name? She said I am not telling you. I said ok, I will just snap a picture of you. She then jumps out of her chair and runs to her door to lock me in or something. Then runs back to her desk and is yelling you can’t leave until you delete that picture. I sure did leave. I called Hertz and reported her to corporate. I also went not even half a mile down the street to enterprise right after and rented a car from them. They were so wonderful to work with!

The female representative at the counter has a terrible attitude, and makes every transaction more difficult than it has to be. Hertz needs to move her to a different role that does not require customer interaction ASAP.

The cars are parked in an unprotected parking lot. The windows are not tinted. They only accept a credit card to rent their vehicles. They have only one lady(blonde). You're better off going to enterprise.

Was calling since 9AM to confirm my rental using my confirmation number my insurance provided and the automated machine said they were closed. Their hours of operation on Saturday is from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. I took an Uber there and there was only a woman working and a long wait. Poor experience for the employee and customers.

The ppl here are very rude! They’re not helpful at all. Avoid the woman with blonde hair at all cost her attitude is atrocious.

Worst experience I have ever had. Booked a manager special, only car they had on the lot was an electric vehicle. No offers of help or chargers. Most people do not have the means of charging an electric vehicle. I was screwed into paying $140 than originally planned. When the website says it CAN be an electric vehicle not will, don't take your chances.

Under staffed and long wait times in the lobby. Slow to fix overcharges. The nice thing is they are in the neighborhood.

Worst experience ever. Did absolutely nothing to help with getting me into a rental and gave me nothing but trouble for a car that was previously reserved by my insurance company. This is the second time I have needed a rental from insurance and they went through hertz I had similar issues last time as well. The staff is incompetent and flat out rude and it’s damn near impossible to get anyone on the phone to help you with your problems. Don’t waste your time with this company as the only thing they do is make your life more difficult.. I will never use this company for a car rental in the future and would never recommend to anyone I know.

Always a long wait. I've been here many times, with reservations made in advance, and there's always a wait. However, the staff is nice and helpful. I don't think it's their fault, it may just be that they don't have enough people for the demand.

Staff is always busy and hustling to get you a ride. Service was average and car condition was dirty, no windshield solvent, tiers needed air, and the windows were filthy. I would not recommend.
