My daughter went to school here a few years ago, I ended up changing her schools within 2 years. The first day of school (kindergarten) she let them know she was buying lunch, I even provided a note. They refused to let her get lunch because she was holding a lunch box. Her lunchbox had a bag of Cheetos and that’s all, it was a special snack for her first day of school. She came home starving. Not even a week later, I pick her up and her pants are soaked because her teacher ignored her the entire period while she was holding up her hand to use the restroom. A month after, she came home with sand in her underwear because another student picked up her dress and put sand in her underwear, the school did NOTHING about any of this. She cried every day going to school. I also found out a little girl was bullying her and would open stall doors by kicking them and would laugh at her while she was using the toilet. This student was a staff members child, so nothing happened again. The next year she came home with a black eye from the same kid who put sand in her underwear a year earlier. The eye was so bad, she had broken blood vessels and half her face was swollen and bruised. I was never told if the child was punished.I took my daughter out of this school and she has had no issues since.

Its a kinda a good school but like literally it sucks. One of the boys threw stuff at me and my teacher didn’t do anything about it. It was fine in 5th grade but now its horrible now lol. But i love some of the teachers here. My tutor kinda yells at me for not getting an answer right like cmonnnn dudeee

There’s no soap dispensers, kinda ironic when there’s a pandemic, desks barely get cleaned and lunch is wrapped in plastic. Very appealing and very nutritious for every kid. ( As of november 12th 2021 the staff has yet to do anything about the soap situation in the boys bathroom, centerra people need soap after using the bathroom GIVE US SOME)

So i go to this school, and some of the teachers are extremely rude and downgrading. but some of the teachers do care about the students, a great example is the 7th grade team. if you need a school to send your child i would not put this school first but if you cannot find a different school Centerra is not a bad choice. I have been here for a few years and have only encountered some type of drug paraphernalia 1 time . They handle some situations good and some not so good. I would say that the restrooms are not up to standards they are quite fifthly. There are a lot of things that the school could do better. But they are not terrible. The food is atrocious they served two pieces of bread and some turkey, THATS IT.

There is spiders everywhere amd they dont plan to fix it in the bathrooms, a lot of teachers are just flat out rude they dont care they think that if your old enough they can handle it a couple people in my class cant. And any one can just climb over the fences with ease, there is also a LOTof drama and fighting in my grade and they tried to solve the problem by bringing in people who had no idea it was going on and punishing the wrong people. Most of the water fountains dont work, and the way they figure out who is in trouble after a fight and a teacher didnt see how it started is so rigged, you can gather every person in the school you know and tell them what to write on a paper the principle gives them they will win because "those people saw the other person hit me first" even though I could of hit them first.

My three children were attending this school until my middle child who is 6 and has a severe speech disorder came home with a large bruise on his arm that was clearly inflicted by an adult (staff member).(Let me be clear that the person I believe to have done this to my son was an assistant teacher that went back and forth between two kindergarten classes at the time, I say this from seeing how she treated other children and wouldn't even approach my son when I would go to class with him.) The principal did nothing about this, in fact she didn't even apologize for this happening to my son. The principal cares more about covering this incident up and not taking responsibility for it rather than find who did this to my son and stop it from happening to another child. Overall even aside from this incident this school lacks resources and leadership including principal and vice principal lack morals and should find a different sector to work in besides education. They are horrible at their jobs, despite multiple attempts to help them be sufficient for my child they are sorely lacking in multiple areas. If you care about the well being of your child especially those who can't speak for themselves and let you know what is going on DO NOT send them to this school. This school should be shut down! FYI the police did nothing because my son can't communicate to me what happened and who did this to him.

The school treats the students that are bigger than 3rd grade like prisoners or military school students. I go here and I hate it.I hope the school see's this.

New parent who has been trying to get my kids registered. I have stopped by school office several times, no one answers the door. I have called numerous times and no one answers. Mind you this was all within normal school hours. Finally my kid was able to get an answer at the side office door (so these workers are literally inside as I am ringing the bell to get in at the front door!) So I go to the side door and was told (by someone who already had all her bags in hand ready to go) that the office closes at 3:30 AND IT WAS ONLY 3:25 OR 3:27 AT THE ABSOLUTE LATEST! mind you I was there earlier than that standing at the front door waiting... all this just to drop off paper work that was all completed and signed, I needed no copies, literally all that was needed was to take it and say "Thank you, I can process this in the morning. I will give you a call if anything else is needed" but NO! I got no help. Horrible customer service! At this point I do not want to send my kids here. This has been a pain and nothing but frustration.

I saw bugs in my food including a roach in my salad. I told the principle and he pretended like he didn’t see it and said “yum yum go finish your lunch or detention” so now I’m offended

I had about 5-15 subs in one quarter in one class. Lost 3 out of 4 teachers in one grade. Took a few months to find new ones. This school is not organized! The new principal canceled all of ONE 7th grade class because she did not like that class. A drug incident just recently happened and was not very happy with it!
