My absolute favorite place to play golf in Arizona. The courses are manicured to perfection, the views are beautiful and the staff is truly delightful. What a magnificent club.

I played rounds on both courses for two days at a golf course that was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly, something I had never experienced in New York. The course is beautiful and nice, so I had a very happy winter golf trip. I would like to come back again if I have the chance.

We know Beth who used to be assistant pro. Not sure of these negative reviews but we've golfed hundred of clubs and the conditions of this course, to the pristine clubhouse and excellent front staff, is beyond expectation at every facet as guests.I'm impressed with the locker room where every detail and amenity is taken care of and has an employee at the front entrance to meet needs immediately. Practice facilities are excellent and the views here are amazing. The members are driving high end vehicles leaving top down on convertibles only demonstrates the safety and security of the golf course and parking lot.To the lady who knows the manager for 35 years and lost a friendship posting a review. Your superstitions will come true here at Superstition Mountain. If it was my friend I'd rather not post then to take their generosity and post publicly something negative.Good prices very reasonable. Private golf course so you'll need to be in invited of know someone.Nicest and best conditioned golf course we've played in the Phoenix area.

If you are looking for a high end golf club experience do not even consider coming here. You will not find great member service or great dining experiences. What you will find is management trying to squeeze every last nickel out of their members and all that entails. The best parts of this club are the courses and members.Too bad because of the natural setting it could be much more...but it isn't.Best to look elsewhere.

Let me be clear. The golf course itself is great. No complaints there. The staff? HORRIBLE!The actors:Bailey- the cart girl. Also known as Ricky BobbyTyler Hoeft- Head Golf ProMark Gurnow- GMBaileys boyfriend- pro shop guy, asst pro??Hang with me as it's a story.Summer 2022-Friend of mine invites me out to play. Early morning tee time. I am on my way and get to the point where the 60 turns to head toward Gold Canyon. It's 2 lanes and I am passing a car doing about 75 (20 over posted limit). A jeep Cherokee comes up behind and gets right on me. Before I can even pass the car the jeep goes off road and passes me on the shoulder and gives me the bird. Classy gal. Highly dangerous move but she pulled it off. Now the story gets good. Guess what, the turn off to the club was less than 1/4 mile away and she is stuck at the light. She sees me pull behind her and gives me another bird. The light turns green so we turn and as we keep driving she realizes we are probably going to the same place. We get to the guard tower and she pulls right through (at this point I am thinking she's a member). I have to stop at gate since I am guest. I get to the course and see the lady exiting her Cherokee. At this point I notice she is in the employee lot and thinking she is probably nervous. She was hiding by her car so I ask her, "hey, just apologize and we can move on". She blows me a kiss and says "never". She says ti me "I drive fast and you were in my way". This is Bailey. The cart girl at the course. I check in and tell the guy about it and he says he will let someone know. I had one person approach me that day that has nothing to do with golf. He heard about it and told me Bailey has a bad rep. I told him I told the guy in the pro shop. He then tells me that is baileys boyfriend. Well I also know the head pro, Tyler Hoeft. I reach out to him and leave a message. No return call. Days go by so I leave a yelp. I left out all names and more just said how disappointed I was and say this is something I'd expect at a muni (no offense) not superstition mountain.Fast forward....I've played there 5-6 times since this incident. The review was up the for all but the last 2 of my rounds out there. I figured the issue does. About 3-4 months ago I took the review down. I was out there 2 weeks ago playing and baileys boyfriend checked me in. I didn't say anything to him nor did he to me. A few days later I get a text, not even a call, from Tyler saying due to conduct unbecoming I am no longer welcome there. I call him and ask what's this about and he says "you left a bad yelp review". I asked him what it said since it's been down for months and he stutters and says "you said you never want to come here again". Tyler originally said the GM, Mark Gurnow, made the call but then later texted me to make sure I knew it was all of their decisions. mark Gurnow was one of the people who taught me how to golf as a junior. I call Mark and left a message but have yet to hear back. Not one person there cared to know what happened. I guess I should have made a bigger deal of it when it happened. No one there even read my yelp. It's unfortunate no one there bothered to see what happened. I go back with mark 35+ years. I've known tyler for 7 years. I expect more from a facility like that especially when you have a personal relationship with some of the people.Extremely disappointed.

It really is beautiful out here, too bad this is the only decent place in Gold Canyon. The shopping, restaurants, and amenities are absolutely terrible.

Played here with Ron Towle - an ex colleague & club member - some 20 years ago. Among the highlights of my trips to Arizona. A beautiful golf course supported by a great team of staff.

An exceptional experience from start to finish. The drive up the tree lined entry way that makes you think of Augusta National's Magnolia Lane; the absolutely beautiful clubhouse and locker room facilities; the fantastic course conditions (including some of the best greens I have ever played); and the excellent service from the staff added up to one surreal golf day. If you have the opportunity to play here, don't pass it up, you'll regret it.

Spectacular! I'm a muni golfer. I've lived in the area for 50 years and didn't know about SS. Mountain. I could not have been more impressed.

One of the best run facilities you'll find. Course maintenance is second to none, and members and staff are extremely friendly.
