Amazing, compassionate doctor. My mother had an issue that her current Surgeon refused to treat. Dr. Copeland stepped in, & prevented a serious infection. She called after hours in order to help her.

Only met Dr. Once. She seemed genuinely kind. Some of her staff are rude. The staff has refused to give me my medical records. I have gone to the southern office 3 times this week. Yesterday I was informed I had to talk with Manager Dottie. I've had numerous mistakes with prescriptions not being done or written incorrectly, They're are some good people but I've seen it change in the last year.

It’s not the Doctor! It is always the office staff that makes the patients go elsewhere! Customer service has to be better

I'm a new patient and they seem to be closed Fridays. it's 1:30 and the machine says they're closed, Google Maps says they're open till 230p and the machine says nothing about leaving a message but you can press one to speak to the on call doctor.

Just had a video appointment scheduled. No link came to my phone. I am working and tried to answer my phone when the doctor called. I saw the voicemail (9:45), listened to it and called back. After waiting on the phone, I talk to receptionist at 9:55. I was told to reschedule the appointment. Likely I will be charged for this and I still hurt and don't know the results of my images. Hopefully it's not life threatening. The medical system in this country does not care. I am so tired of trying to get someone to figure out why I hurt so bad.

If I could give less than a one star I would. Last year as a new patient I wanted a wellness appointment and to establish myself as a patient with Dr Copeland. But I had to have a pre appointment in order to make a wellness appointment, and then wait five months for the wellness appt. Which I did. I have never met Dr Copeland, even though I tried to schedule with her multiple times. I don’t even know what she looks like! I have several medical issues and wanted to work with a doctor at resolving them, but was never able to. Even after a diagnosis of osteoporosis, from an bone density test I had self scheduled, I got an appointment with the nurse who wanted me to select from three different medication with no info on any of them, with no interest in trying to find out why I have osteoporosis. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and still didn’t receive a call or a visit from the Doctor, just the nurse. If those diagnoses don’ t deserve a doctor’s attention what does? Lab tests were thrown away and had to be redone, requested lab tests not done due to insurance issues but never communicated to me to be resolved. I finally told them I would no longer be a patient there, and no one ever contacted me to find out why or try to solve the issues. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing, and a waste of time and money. I am glad some people have been able to get the help they needed, but I certainly did not.

I just love Dr. Copeland. I've been a patient of hers since 2018 and every time I see her in person or have an appointment over the phone, we always catch up on what the both of us has been up to and then we talk about what I came to see her about. I love that she takes her time and she never rushed my appointment.

Yes, the doctors here are all good Jarrelle Copeland is great, Romella is fabulous, but the front end and the way they deal with phones not calling back and you can’t reach them very easily.. time to find a new doctor. I would be so upset if my business was losing clients because the people in reception and how they handle clients.

I give 5 stars to the staff and clean office. I had been very sick and could not make it to the office to pick up a new meter to check my blood sugar. Dr Copland drove to my house and dropped 1off. I'm very blessed to have found a wonderful doctor. Thank you so much.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Copeland today. She was absolutely wonderful; she took time to listen to my concerns and put me right at ease. I highly recommend her. Her entire staff was very professional and friendly.

Both my spouse & I have been patients of Dr. Jerelle Copeland since we moved to AZ. She has always been a good listener, diagnostician, highly knowledgeable & compassionate towards her patients. The atmosphere is peaceful, staff are very kind & we were never made to feel we had to rush.We both agree, Dr Copeland is an excellent Primary Care Doctor. We are grateful we found her.

Update: Spoke with my insurance, who then spoke with Gold Canyon Internal Med and was told per their Administrator to not resubmit my claim. Billing clerk told my insurance she's trying to keep her job, she understood, but that was what the Administrator (George) told her. I will never go to this outfit again.Wow. Never again. What a nightmare. The initial visit and blood work with on-site lab went well. But when it came time for the billing and insurance it turned into a nightmare. I spoke with my insurance and they told me how it should have been billed. So then I called a spoke with the billing lady. Ended the call with what I thought was a complete understanding. Then about an hour later the Adminstrator called accusing me of demanding that his staff commit insurance fraud. Wow just wow. He then told me that he was CEO and Dr Copeland’s husband. He just went on and on in such a rude, unprofessional, and accusal tone. He over talked me when I tried to explain what my insurance company told me. And then he hung up on me. I have no idea how this is going to turn out but it probably won’t be good.

Last Friday I called to make an appointment and directed myself to the administrator and said I had to send a new patients packet before I can make an appointment which made zero sense to me. Then today called the office and got directed to a different extension and was able to make one even though I did not send them a new patients packet. Giving a one star because the administrator had a nasty attitude with me and seemed annoyed that I called. I think his name was George and he needs to have better customer service skills

Your administrator is a horrible person. Called on the phone trying to get a hold of ANYONE in office, I’d tried every extension and got nowhere. Made the mistake of pressing his extension as he felt the need to feel bothered by my very call. So much so that he did not bother to let me even say a word as he kept talking over me, in the end when I managed to finally say something he had the audacity to hang up on me & leave me talking by myself. I’m usually not one to write reviews but that was unacceptable. Administrator or not treat people with respect, he’s rude and has no business being in health care.
