I went to stardust to get some flooring and Kim was absolutely amazing and so helpful. I was so pleased with the customer service and her knowledge. I will definitely be returning!

Like most second hand stores, they are overwhelmed with material, and not enough staff to properly display their wares. You have to be careful moving items around, there are a lot of sharps in the material. I wood have bought some cabinets, but they were lumped together with bulk pricing.

Amazing amount of inventory from finishes to furniture, this place has everything. Bought a new motion activated kitchen faucet at 30% of the cost to buy it at new. The staff were incredible and Jerry made sure I had everything I needed. Been back several times.

I really like Stardust Building Supplies. Stardust is a nonprofit thrift shop offering salvaged & used building materials. I have been recycling for years as I hate throwing things in the landfill. I take any usable construction materials to Stardust. They don't take everything like used carpet, open containers of grout and some other items. I have found quite a few hard to find things there like cabinet doors, drawer fronts, ceramic tile that is no longer in stock and appliances. One time I found a granite sink top that was in great condition. The pictures are the master bath sink that was already there. I was able to find a sink top for the hall bath that matched and was about one third the cost of a new one. It is a plus that you can return things that don't work albeit it has to be within in a few days. Like all thrift stores this is a treasure hunt. Some things are beat up and some are in good shape. They have limited employees so there is not really anyone to help you find things. They also support the animal rescue called Lost Our Home and have one section for large donations like furniture and art.

Price on a new countertop was within a dollar or two of the same thing purchased with a Big Box Store's credit card. Didn't bother to check if their return policy was same/better/worse.

go in here almost once a week, and the staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Chris and Christina are two of the most fun to talk with. Always welcoming and a delightful experience would recommend this store to anyone with a bad day because them two Always shine

Unresponsive to deconstruction inquiries. I had to call them twice over the span of 2 weeks before someone returned my call. Even then, they didn’t return my call until after I filled out their online form. I had a few questions and had hoped someone would come out and inspect my kitchen before booking services like the website said. This never happened. Instead, I received a text and call asking me to send pictures of my kitchen. I did that and never got a response back. I then called them and emailed them at least 3 more times over the course of another 2 weeks to confirm if they were going to do the job or not.. Stardust never followed up and I never got my initial questions answered. A simple ‘No’ would’ve been nice to save everyone’s time, but I was ghosted. I went with J&S demolition instead.

Outstanding customer service, I come in quiet often to the Glendale location and the store has changed so much its cleaner and neater and the new employee Christina is such a great happy new face loved that she was able to help me with what I needed also she led me to the most knowledgeable man jerry I mean what a book of knowledge on all my questions for my kitchen that man should get a raise! I always spread the word to go see Christina and jerry at stardust building supplies on northern and 51st HOPEFULLY they stay around!!!
