The staff here used to be wonderful. Katrina and Ashley are fantastic, it's really too bad they aren't there anymore. Now, there is terrible communication with doctor's offices and very poor customer service. Blatant incompetence. They had the nerve to lie to me and to my doctor's office about what my insurance does and does not cover. I have been waiting for a script that was written two weeks ago and was authorized by my insurance shortly after and was promised by Kyle it would be in yesterday. I'm changing pharmacies. I'm done. I guess it doesn't matter to these people when someone can't get essential medication.

The people that work there are nice enough, but this group is woefully understaffed. They rarely answer the phone so if there's an issue or you just have a question, you have to go there and stand in line. If there are 2 people ahead of you, you will be there a while. I can't remember the last time I saw more than 2 people there working no matter what time of day. If they had some people, it'd help their overall rating.

What a Joke, lady that works there knows nothing about customer service. Walked up to window at 1:27 there was a customer getting help by another representative. The female lady that works there comes up to me at 1:30 and says sorry we’re closed? You will have to come back at 2 o’clock. I asked what time do you close? She says 130, I let her know well is there a way you can just give him me my prescription? She says no we’re closed see you at 2! As I walk away, I hear her say sometimes you just Gotta tell them what they don’t wanna hear. Lol. Must suck to be a pharmacist and hate your job! I feel sorry for her husband if she’s married. But Honey I just wanted a little dinner. Sorry. See you at 7:30. And don’t ask questions! Don’t talk to me until then! Sometimes kids you gotta tell dad what he needs to hear! Absolute joke

Slow, non engaging employees. Sever lack of service abilities. Wait in line for 10-20 minutes each time. Just an unpleasant place. Glad Fry's opened up around the corner. Y'all should go there. Above and beyond service. I've been doing business with this terrible Pharmacy for a year. I had to call to find out they were out of stock on my prescription. No one let me know at all. Called in and asked where the prescription was, found out they were out of stock. I asked the gentleman if he could find another Safeway nearby that has it in stock. He told me he doesn't know I will need to call them myself. After a year of this type of service I decided to call into the new Fry's Pharmacy on Jomax. Fry's said they didn't have it in stock however this gentleman on his own accord found a nearby location that has it in stock and gave me all the information. Also he said that if I fill my prescription through them it will be automated and I won't need to worry about going out of stock. WOW shocker Safeway is terrible go elsewhere GO TO FRYS!!!

I've switched to this pharmacy because it's close to home. If I continue to receive Nikki M. As my teller, I will no longer be a customer. Unfortunately, I get her every time. She is rude, slow, seemingly unaware of where she is, and oblivious of how to do her job. I have to repeat myself MULTIPLE times and witnessed her do the same to someone in front of me today. Nikki is the sole reason your lines are always so long. Please let her go. She is toxic to your business. To be clear, I'm referring to the Safeway pharmacy on 39th Avenue and Happy Valley Rd.

The cashier on lane 5 at 4:40 pm on Thursday December 1 2022 yelled at a little asian girl "Where's your Mother Where's your mother STOP touching everything and go find your mom!!!" This cashier should not be yelling at a child the poor child left in tears.

Love this pharmacy! They are efficient, friends, and helpful. I appreciate their willingness to rush and friendly approach.

Not helpful or understanding and both pharmacists were passive aggressive and rude to my face when I picked up my prescription.God forbid you get frustrated over the phone after their systems/phones being down all day and being told the wrong information. They'll tell you it's your fault and provide no guidance when you don't even know what's going on with your refill in the first place. Not everybody knows how this stuff works.

The Safeway cashiers are rude. The Starbucks had about five flies flying up above where the menu is I decided not to order after seeing that! I don't recommend buying Starbucks drinks there because of the flies.

Normally a decent place to get groceries. Today was different. In the weekly Ad they are advertising Holiday Roasts, and other types of roasts for $3.47lb. I couldn't find what was meant by "holiday roasts" so I started to ask. First I asked customer service. They weren't sure and directed me to the meat department. The butcher pointed to all the cheaper roasts such as chuck and tri-tip. I asked him, What does "Holiday Roast" mean? He again says these cuts. That is deceptive marketing practices and I thought after the Albertsons take over this would have stopped. There are only two types of roasts that are acceptable to be called a "Holiday Roast". Those are Rib Roasts (ribeye steak) and Strip Roasts (New York steak). Everyone I talked to today about it seemed unknowledgeable about the Ad and what it actually meant. I didn't bother wasting my time asking the store manager. Maybe y'all need to do a morning huddle so people know what that weekly Ad is talking about

I use to go to Safeway for most of my grocery shopping, however, lately by the time I leave I am usually very frustrated!! The store is clean, organized for the most part, empolyees are usually helpful and nice. HOWEVER, I wish they would change their way of doing all their coupon methods. PLEASE it would be so nice if Safeway didn't have at least 3 different methods of coupons, sales, ect. There is digital coupons (which half the time give me a problem), there is clip paper coupons and then there's the actually items that are on sale. It would be SOOO MUCH easier for your customers to just have 1 type of method when an item is on sale. Here's a thought just put the item on sale and give the cutstomers the sale price. We should not have to waste our time clipping, scanning and whatever else just to get a good price. For this reason, I shop alot more at Walmart and Fry's (even though there not much better). It would make shopping alot easier if I didn't have to deal with all their methods to just save some money. It's bad enough the companies continue to shrink food items and still charge the same price or more for less quantity!! I am hoping a manager sees this and will give the feedback to their corporate office.

Very disappointing experience in Safeway today. I have a family member who is quarantined awaiting COVID test results. The Safeway ad has Progresso soup for.27/ea (limit 4). I offered to do his shopping when I did mine. He clipped the coupon, and I used his phone number to log in, paying separately for both orders. When I scanned his items, no discount was given. I called someone over to help, and they said you’re not allowed to do that. Really? You’re not allowed to shop for someone else, using two different phone numbers and paying separately? She said no—the person has to physically come there. I explained that he was quarantined, but the answer was the same. Seems like they’d rather have sick people come in and do their own shopping? We’ve been coming here for 20+ years (even in their old location). Might be time to switch to Frys or Walmart! Not a good call Safeway.
