I hate, hate, hate that I cannot just call the office and talk to my doctor directly, the person who knows my medical history, or someone at the office. Instead, I have to call a call center. All they want to do is make appointments. If I have a question , I can't just ask it. And then they try to send me to other offices instead of the one I usually go to. It is so impersonal.
Sorry, Paseo, but you lost a patient. I'm over it.

Horrible medical industrial complex. They sent the bill as a text to a phone. We did not click the link.....who clicks links to unknown text phone numbers? After 3 mos, instead of calling or sending a bill they sent us to collections. Took me 3 requests to get an itemized bill which finally stated the doctor's name. It was 2 pages of 0.01 charges and reversals until the billing code finally paid out for them....guess they were 'experimenting' to see what worked with the insurance company? The collection agency just says Summit Medical Group, no physician name, and we never even knew we were at 'Summit Medical Group', which when googled comes up in ME, not AZ. After months of requests, we got a bill. The automated system to request did not work, I finally talked to a like person to get a bill sent out. The doc was not even that great. Save your time and find another practice.

the doctors are great along with everyone in the office, the problem is, if you have to deal with their billing or referral departments they are located someplace in the mid west and are absolutely horrible, they always tell you that they will take care of the problem but they do nothing to resolve your issue, and the next thing you know you are hearing from a collection agency

Billing group for Summit Medical Group is the worst. They took a copy of my medical card and I filled out all of the usual information. Then 3 months later I get a bill saying they submitted it to my insurance and got told by the insurance company that they are not covering any of the cost. After following up with insurance, who never received a bill, I called the summit medical group billing. They said they had no insurance information on record and the assistant was provided all new information and ran a report that came out good (after 2 calls.) 2 weeks later I get a notification that my payment is due and that the insurance company is still saying no billing. Start the same process again. End up just paying the full bill knowing I wouldn't ever go back .

After being a patient for 15 years I'm now looking for a new provider. I've tried to pay an outstanding bill through their third party billing and asked about a discount because I'm in between insurance. They told me, they do offer "self pay discounts" but it needed to be approved through the supervisor. Come to find out they don't offer "self pay discounts" and when I got off the phone the gentleman I was talking to sent me directly to collections.

Love my Dr. she takes time with you. Liked them better as Paseo Medical. You can't get in touch with the office personally anymore. So sad!

These guys used to be great as Paseo but now they are horrible. Will not be back. I advise you stay away. All the horrible parts of seeing a doctor are even worse here. Customer service and front office is terrible.

0 stars!!!!! Today was seen by nurse practitioner Leach. Was the worst customer service I've ever experienced .She had absolutely no bedside manner whatsoever through a very sensitive subject with my daughters mental health .I would not recommend this nurse practitioner to anyone. We love Dr. Patel there Dr. Underhill was great for years ,but I will not see this nurse practitioner ever again. A person that lacks this much in social skills should not be working with people.

I have been going to Paseo for about 12 years now. I stopped going for a while because I was lied to by Dr Tolsen and swore I would never go to him again. I then started to see Dr Satya Patel as my PCP. His service has been alright, definitely better than the previous Doctor. My issue is with the lack of punctuality in that office. I understand the occasional delay and maybe 15 minutes delay is ok but if you can't meet your appointment times, you have too many patients to properly service them all. I've been told the excuse that they are short staffed and so there are longer delays. If you don't have the personnel the run your office with the appointment book schedule you have, book less appointments until you are fully staffed.

By far, the best family practice I've ever worked with. I've had three of their physicians as my primary care physician (the first one changed the structure of his practice, the second one moved out of state), and I've been pleased with all of them. The staff is very welcoming, they have relatively short wait times, and they have a Sonora Quest satellite right in their building so you can have your labs drawn without having to go to Sonora Quest! (Note: Some of the phlebotomists wont draw your labs unless you just came out of the physicians appt). They also walk ins available, and if your physician isn't available, they have very qualified PA's and NP's (I saw PA Bryan, and DNP Sherri and I was very impressed!)

Horrible customer service. Fail to bill properly to my insurance then sent to collections without notice. Now I am on the hook for a bill with a collection agency that I shouldn't even owe. NEVER USE THESE DOCTORS.

Everyone is just so simply kind and helpful. MAs are fantastic, the office is rarely crowded and I've never had to wait. My doctor is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and never rushes me out if I am asking questions. They rescheduled me last minute no problem for a scheduling error on my part. Warm and welcoming environment. I do not give out a 5 star very often but the fine staff and clinicians here have earned it.1 year edit: thank you Diane, thank you Dr. Nebeker.2 year edit: thank you for keeping me healthy everybody.

Terrible experience from front desk to physician. I called and set up an annual exam. I was given a new patient office visit instead. This is understandable, except that this was not explained to me, and my insurance does not cover new patient office visits. Not everyone understands how billing works, and as per office policy, I should have been told what kind of appointment I was getting. When I got the surprise bill, I called to ask for it to be re-billed as the exam I made the appointment for. I was told "it's not like a restaurant, where if you get something you didn't order, you don't have to pay for it" and offered only a promise to educate the receptionist, which doesn't help my situation at all. Honestly, it would have been fine if the visit had not been a total waste of time. The doctor treated me like a child (I'm 25), did not do a complete exam, and had no answers for my question about a recent bout of unprecedented vertigo. She only smirked at the explanation that had been given by my husband, who witnessed the vertigo and is also a primary care MD. I realized later that this was the same doctor who told my sister she might have Marfan's (not even close!) without first examining her. After the worthless visit, I already knew I wouldn't go back. The billing debaucle made me post this review to warn other people away.Honestly, this kind of office is why people don't go to the doctor and don't trust doctors. And this is coming from someone who is married to an MD and is pro-traditional medicine.
