Had a day to myself so I thought I'm gonna get my hair done! Went to Jc Penney's and asked if they could get me in. Girl at the reg said sure. I asked that they not give me anyone that was new because last time I got my hair colored ( at a dif salon) she turned my hair pink. So she switched me to a dif girl. I went to get products while I waited and another worker was stocking and started to help me, she took me back to the reg to ring me up and another worker told her that the person that was gonna do my hair would get the credit.( Kinda seemed like they might butt heads...Well I guess she didn't like that, so she switched my stylist. Stylist came to get me I asked her if she could do what I wanted and she said yes absolutely. During the process she kept adding things... She asked if I wanted something to keep the color and that it will make my hair shiny. I asked how much she said 75 more dollars.. I said no let's wait, I'm meeting a friend at 1 for lunch I won't have time. She continued w my colors and went to get more product, came back and puts it in my hair. I asked what is that. She said it's the stuff I told you about.. I said what your doing it?!? She says yea remember you told me to. I said we could do it next time. Also I asked that she cut my bangs straight and she did them totally short on one side. I specifically asked that they be cut straight across, because I wear them differently. You can also see the hair surrounding my face is very off! One side goes around my chin and the other is cut way above my chin. Ugh!! We get done and go up to the reg. She doesn't know how to ring in my bill, so she's telling the girls this long list of everything she did... she's telling them she did a blow out and the other girls are like she didn't do this or this. I was extremely stressed because we went over what she was gonna do and the cost before she even started. Thank God the other girls caught what she was doing! Angel was a lot of fun and had a great personality, but she doesn't listen and it seems like she looks for ways to raise the bill. I had a great chatting while getting my hair done, but I won't be back. My hair cost 220 something. A lot less than what Angel was trying to charge me! Thank you girls at the reg! My hair color I like, but the cut not so happy w my bangs! Also let me add when I was checking out... get this... oh she doesn't know how to because she's new...I thought to myself wth.. it seemed like I was switched to a new person because the girl was annoyed she didn't get the credit for the product... anyway I won't be back!

I hate going to the salon, but Deon was so good to me, I will never feel that way again! He listened to me and took the time to cut and style my hair the way I wanted it. I am so pleased! Thank you, Deon. You will never know how much it meant to me.

DO NOT GO HERE! I would give it ZERO or negative stars if I could!! I bought a groupon for a signature blowout and they not only claimed to "not accept this" but they were exceptionally talented in being rude about it!! They do not accept groupons. The staff has zero idea of what customer service means!!! Save your money and go someplace else. It was embarrassing!!! They are not nice at all. Mean people!

Do not recommend, customers service could use a lot of work. Unprofessional conversation regarding other staff right in front of multiple customers. The manager Billi, wasn't welcoming and made for a very bad experience. Do NOT recommend at ALL. Also there are clear signs of mold in the building and I don't believe anything is being done about it.

Billi Grieser Botts is the worst salon manager I've ever seen, jc penny as a corporation allows mold to be in the salon and have it reek of mildew! She treats her employees like trash and speaks bad about them in front of customers. Do not go there!

walking into this establishment is absolutely disgusting. it is absolutely ridiculous how as i walk into this salon it reeks of mildew with a presence of MOLD! salon manager billi is completely unprofessional and should not be a part of JCpenney corporations. This salon will continue to lose sales as long as billi is manager.

I came in as a walk in on Thursday 12/1 and my husband stood outside the salon while I waited to see if I can be seen. While I was waiting in line,I noticed the manager (Billy or Bobby) telling another girl to go check on my husband (who happens to be black) and make sure he wasn't doing anything. I quickly followed the girl and confirmed he was with me and they didn't need to be concerned with what he was doing since he was waiting for me. I'm not sure who the manger is running your establishment but she clearly thinks that racial profiling is okay. I highly suggest she gets some education on how to treat others and not assume the worst.

Front desk is rude. Stylist not very friendly. Cut my hair shorter than I wanted. Looks ok but choppy in the back. A little uneven. Proceeded to tell me how damaged my hair was but yet didn't put any kind of leave-in conditioner in my hair. Just left me with frizzy looking hair walking out of there. Shouldn't have left a tip but I did. Of course I wasn't even thanked for the tip. Buyer beware of the upselling in up charges for bleach vs color

I had my haircut done on Wednesday at the Boise ID salon for the 2 Nd time . I left w an unpleasant feeling , how awful my haircut was . The hair stylist cut my hair so freaking short . Even I brought her a picture , she did not follow my instructions . I felt she was very distracted and not having a good day . Now , I am paying the price w an awful haircut . She ruined my hair !! I will never go back

The Hair Salon at this JC Penny @ Arrowhead Mall has the WORST Customer Service EVER! Waited on Hold for nearly a half hr, twice trying to make an apt!!??

Everyone is always nice and helpful. Their salon is good but not really worth the price. Their inventory is great but if you want stuff for home you need to go to their jcpenny across the road

We have taken our toddler here for pictures a couple of times now. The photographers working here are GREAT at getting the little ones to sit still and smile for the camera.
