Staff are incredibly rude, including management. Very condescending and passive aggressive. Store is great, staff are not. Sam’s club has my business.

I went to this Costco May 24 2019 around 7:50 at night. I was using my husband's Costco card, because we have not put my name on it yet. But when I went to the checkout line cashier was the rudest person I have met at a Costco her name was MARLO F. as soon as I went through the line she screamed across Costco I need a manager over here. the manager came I told him I was using my husband's card have not put my name on it yet he said well how are you paying I said with an EBT card. Well because somebody has an EBT card doesn't mean that they are using the system, or poor they do not know the whole story. I'm sure I make three times as much as them put together. It gave him great pleasure to humiliate me in the line because I could not get the card to work as it was the first time I had ever used it. Not that it is anybody's business but I just gained custody of my grandson and I get that money for him . MARLO F. Kept sighing really loud and rolling her eyes and being so rude. MARLO F you work at a Costco honey. Do not judge a book by its cover or be rude to people you are a Costco employee that is it! you are not in any kind of power. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. I will never shop at Costco. I have never had a problem at Sam's club with anybody being rude to me so I think I will stick to them

Too many disrespectful people in the store at the same time I am there, a lot of them act like they are above everyone else and they don't say excuse me when they walk passed you,

I think I will drop my membership due to higher prices. Costco is no longer able to compete with Aldi or Sam's club. Eg. Kirkland toilet paper was 19.99 in Jan 24, it's gone up to 25.00 for 30 rolls. That's too much of a hike in one year, 5 bucks more. (I got 36 rolls for 26.99 at Aldis. ) Other items I used to buy there have been discontinued or they raised the prices above what I can get at Frys. By by Costco.

Costco is not the best deal in town. You may get a better deal at Walmart or Amazon. Be sure to compare prices and don't just assume it's cheaper here when you buy in bulk. As a paying member there should be an incentive to use Costco but unfortunately they are becoming less competitive. I compared 10 items to other stores and they were less than Costco. Same size and quantity. I realized this when our shopping trips became more and more expensive. I recommend you all do the same and don't just assume it's cheaper here.

This Costco is fairly clean in and out. The staff is friendly overall, and of course, the prices are usually pretty good! The food vendors with their carts (and people stopping to taste their goods) is annoying in that the flow of customers are many times brought to a standstill by these vendors. Since this Costco is extremely busy (lots of shoppers/customers) don't expect to get in and out in a timely fashion. But ......it's still nice to have it as a shopping option in our community!

Too crowded very unfriendly at checkout you're just pushed through like cattle and too many recalled products or warnings of products. Also I just bought a computer there that doesn't last 4 hours on battery time very disappointed.

I am deeply disappointed by an incident that occurred during our recent visit to Costco. My daughter, who is underaged, was treated violently by an employee named Robert while we were checking out. Robert was clearly in a bad mood and took it out on someone who couldn’t defend themselves.
While we were in line, Robert kicked a box underneath our cart. My daughter moved it back to its spot, but Robert aggressively snapped at her, saying, "I moved it for a reason." When she explained it was blocking our cart, he responded loudly and angrily, "You move around it then," before VIOLENTLY kicking the box back at her. The box struck her in the ankle and side of the leg.
We spoke to a manager about the situation, but I want to raise awareness about what happened. My daughter has a chronic illness and was left visibly shaken, crying, and distressed by the incident. This was not something I ever expected to experience at Costco, a place we’ve been loyal members of for over 25 years, spending significant amounts of money. We are now considering switching to a different chain because no one should feel unsafe at a store, especially due to an employee's actions.
Robert, I hope you are ashamed of yourself for what you did. We deserve to be treated with respect and kindness, and this experience has shattered my trust in Costco

2024 update:
scan the stupid membership to enter, one more thing to make our shopping more annoying, I feel like I'm entering a strip club and I need to scan my ID at the door, what a joke
Posted 2019:
Very bad experience especially lately, they keep moving stuff around to a totally diffrwnt department and they remove inventory items without notifying customers, I was looking for 30 minutes for pancake mix and I revisited all grocery isles like 3 times to end up not finding anything, no employees available around to ask about the new mystery location. very bad and I'm considering canceling my membership if they keep doing that, If I have to order online then Amazon prime is cheap and fast and I don't have to deal with all the BS wasting my life running between isles.

Its always busy at Costco but the staff that works there is always friendly. I love coming here, my mom and I shop and after have a slice of pizza and a drink and a chat. It's fun to do some people watching especially during the busy afternoons.

Always a crazy trip battling your way through a costco. Was only lacking 1 thing on my list, was sent back aisles I already searched to come up empty handed yet again.
