In VZ stores when you bring your own phone, because the employees make NO MONEY on BYOD, the response will be either a happy greeting and I am going to try and help you, or I am going to seem like I want you to FAIL. In this case, the negative, questioning, “well most likely you can’t use that phone,” efforts by both the employee and the manager, David just put us off. Evidently the phone we received as a gift was locked by a carrier “and COULD NOT BE USED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!” This is ridiculous as I have heard of cases where this has been cleared up, but these folks are just not helpful. I wish we would have gone to the Queen Creek or Desert Ridge store as I have always been treated like the 38 year customer I am.

Estevan gave us the wrong information and screwed us over on a promotion. I had to talk with 4 different sales reps call in 3 different times. Was a miserable experience because we could not get the right help we needed. Would not recommend coming in here.

I came in for an upgrade and a was lied to be Estevan. He told me I could keep my current plan with the deal he was giving me. Find out 1 month later he changed my plan. I was also told my monthly rate would not increase. This also increased. I went to the store to try get it resolved. I told them I was lied to and they did not care. They said the only option was to cancel the contract and pay 50 even though what I was told was completely incorrect. I would stay away from this store. They lie and then refuse to work with you to get it resolved.

Terrible experience. Google says they are open til 7, but apparently they close at 6. We were inside at 6 but stepped outside to meet our son who had just arrived, and they would not let us back in. Employees were extremely rude. We’ve been Verizon customers for many years and this was very disappointing. We’ll definitely be back escalating this further through customer service. 👎

I agree! James deserves a raise! Initially, we went to the Verizon Store on Val Vista and Baseline, but the customer service there was TERRIBLE!!! They didn’t listen to my needs, concerns or what I was looking for. They were only concerned with trying to upsell me to the most expensive products and insisted that was all they offered. So we walked out and ended up, thankfully, meeting James Chapman at this Verizon store. He was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with!!! He was so kind and genuinely listened to my needs and concerns. He made me feel like he was genuinely concerned about what would work best for me and my family. Even though this Verizon store is more out of the way, I would make that drive anytime to be able to work with James again!!! I will tell everyone to head to this store and ask for James to help them!!! Thank you James for your excellent customer service!!! We can’t wait to work with you again!!!

Alma and Estevan helped me out with a phone upgrade and then let me know about a promotion that was much needed and appreciated for myself and children.
Alma is the sweetest and explained everything. Estevan is the manager who went above and beyond in taking care of all the details that this switch and upgrade entailed. He also reached out to me personally to make sure I could come in at a time convenient for me to finalize it since I had a lot going on and couldn’t finish the setup the initial day.
I was truly blown away by the service I received at this location and by these two individuals. I sincerely hope their incredible customer service is recognized. This is why I could never leave Verizon.

Having issues? Use the my Verizon app and chat with those people they actually help. What a joke for customer service here. Cody was not very helpful today I had to get my issue resolved in store over the phone. He wouldn't help make calls and get info. Instead gave me the numbers and said I can call. I see why the rating here isn't great. I've considered switching to AT&T or T Mobile for a bit now from the constant issues im having with this company as a whole. This whole interaction today has me in the search in what carrier will suit me best.

I have been waiting for over half hour and still waiting, the manager Jose, who is by the way available to help, refuses to help and instructs me to wait for an associate to become available. After 40 minutes I decided to leave. I hope things change at this location.

I was visiting from Minnesota and ran into a problem with my multi line phone. I phoned the store from a google search The tech person engaged and solved my problem within 10 min. I was not a former customer of the store, simply a Verizon customer with a problem I was a member impressed how they treated me and delivered a awesome Verizon brand experience 😀😀
