This location is not my usual bank. They are the only ones open on a Saturday. We usually do not need cash but once in a while we do. Today we need cash. This location is clean, efficient, friendly and helpful. They have provided excellent service the few times we have visited. Even when we make it complicated they understand and get us straight and on our way. Love this branch.

They charge a very high payment for collateral protection insurance. I know because I've been in the business for years. They charge 5-6 times more than other banks. It's price gouging like I've never seen before.

I went in not having an account with TruWest I bank with a sister branch and I left opening up an account with truwest. I’ve probably never experienced better customer service in my life. I believe I worked with Trevor and he went out of his way and above and beyond to help me that day!

After 33 years of dealing with MECU - and TruWest CU, I have finally had it with TWCU. Today, they locked up online banking such that it does NOT work - not using Chrome or Firefox browser. It appears I would have to drive over there to pay off my credit card. At this point there are multiple "irreconcilable differences". Spare me the automatic response about emailing you.

I love banking with TruWest Credit Union. The employees there are very kind and helpful.Even when you call their after hours number, the folks at the after hour call center are just as kind and helpful. I have only had to be put on hold at the longest 5 minutes or less. Not everyone can be first in que when you call. However the management at the location I like to go to (Pecos and Gilbert Rd.) are very knowledgeable and they take time to understand what your asking and will find a way to make sure you have all the necessary information for your questions. I am a woman who will ask the same question but word it differently just so I can make sure I am understanding my answers correctly, and the bank tellers , are quick to bring in their branch manager if they are not sure of a transaction I need help with like having a legal form notarized that is from a different state, or they will explain exactly what I need for ID to have a document notarized. Depends on the document in some situations.I have been asking my husband since I joined if we could just move all our money to TruWest Credit Union from a Bank our money is in currently. My little account I have with TruWest Credit Union is play money. Now it’s not big.. but I know it’s in good hands. The other thing I love about being a TruWest member is that Credit Unions are member owned and are not a world bank or a commercialized bank where you have to call many numbers before you get the right person who can help you. I hope whomever reads this review, will consider moving all your money to TruWest Credit Union because they treat people like family there. I trust TruWest Union and You can too. One more thing about TruWest that I love is that they’re not like some other Credit Unions and Banks who will not even give you the time of day to open an account if you don’t know someone who already has an account with them. When I walked in to TruWest Credit Union and told them I wanted to open an account there, they took me in , there was no needing to know someone to open an account with them at all. I am like a walking billboard for this Credit Union. I tell everyone to move their money to TruWest Credit Union. I will not bank anywhere else. Well I do but it is a joint account with my husband. I’m still working on him to transfer all our money over to TruWest Credit Union.

Honestly garbage credit union, steer clear. We’ve been with them for a few years. Needed some simple paperwork notarized and they said they couldn’t do it. Went and opened up a new account at a new credit union and it was done in under 5 minutes. Guy at TruWest simply didn’t want to do it, and we were the only customers in there, not a single other soul. They have very few locations, so we drove 20+ mins out of our way. I suggest finding a better credit union with people that actually do their jobs and their duties as a financial institution. We’ve had other issues along the way but this one sealed the deal.

Just gotta a letter they’re going to start charging me for an inactive account. The account was a car loan that’s been paid off for 2 years. What a scam. I’ll never do business with these people again.

Other locations are fine but this one has terrible customer service. Drive to a different one if you want helped! This location won't even do the minimum.

With Covid it's been really tough getting things done in person so I generally do everything online but recently I've had to dispute some charges and get a new card issued and that only can be done in person or else I would have to wait and long time for it to come in the mail. Christian made life easy today and grabbed my info from me as I was waiting in the long line of cars. He got me an official real deal replacement card instead of that temporary card bs you usually have at first. Christian was all over it and helped me efficiently and quickly. My thanks to him and the staff at this location. They have all been good over the last 4 years I've been coming here.

Open, closed, open, closed. I've showed up on three different occasions now to take care of business with the branch, only to find their branch or lobby is closed. Three total waste of times. Respect your customers time. No notifications that the branch or lobby was closed. I don't make it a habit to call automated systems to see if the business I am about to visit is adhering to their hours and availability. Covid times you're worried about, ok, wear you masks, you demand that we do. Then open your doors for your customers. I will never open another account or utilize a loan product from this credit union again.

Worst financial experience of my life. They recently changed how you pay for car loans on their website. Two years ago I co-signed on a car for my sister. Once this change happened they locked her out of the account and started calling me daily for payment setup. We instructed them that I was the co-signer, I have never paid them, I do not own the car, and to work with her. They ignored us and continued to call me despite her trying to work with them including providing my required details, such as SS#. Finally fed up, I tried my hand and called them, these calls were after hours because I work, so I left messages. I never received a call back, but continue to get the daily automated calls to call them. Took time off from work to resolve this and was hung up on 4 times and left on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected. This is atrocious customer service for anything, but especially bad for dealing with someone’s money. We will be refinancing with another institution just to get away from this horrid place.

I want to thank Eric at the Gilbert Pecos for taking time out to help me with my debit card and pin number. I was having such a difficult time trying to access customer service and then when I did I was transferred several times. I tried two days of this before going to the drive up teller, that where I was greeted by Eric who reassured me he would help me.and he did just that!! He is friendly, professional and awesome!! He even came out to assist me with a different contact number and I was able to set up a new pin number. A big Kudos to Eric for being so kind and having patience with me : ) Thank you!!
