Don't like the reorganization of the store. Clothing, etc are not together, like items seem scattered in different locations. Small sizes are difficult to find.

Target has gone downhill. Clothing and shoe area looks ransacked. Only one checkout open. Lack of quality, sizes and attractive styles. Shelves entirely empty of some products.

TLDR: Profiled at checkout.
When I got to the self checkout register, I scanned super glue, an SD card and a shirt. I left the SD card with the security tag out; shirt and glue went in the bag. The employee there claims that I didn’t scan the shirt because he “didn’t hear it beep”. I told him I did and went to show him. He didn’t believe me, took over the register, logged in, reviewed the 3 items in my cart, and scanned the shirt again anyway. He said, “Oh.” Didn’t apologize for his accusation, and then sheepishly removed the security tag from SD card and handed it back to me. Still no apology. Did I already mention that I’m a black woman and the employee was a white man?

The weekend daytime manager (4/20/24) Saturday is a rude unprofessional young man with no manners toward the public. Seriously, if your short tempered and disrespectful speaking tone toward older aged shoppers, then I recommend re training or perhaps stocking shelves at night would better suit your bad attitude.

I went to this Target location on 3/23 around 11 am. Not only did the lines go very slow, when I was finally able to pay, the cashier submitted two charges for one item I bought (pampers diapers). I noticed it when I got to the car but I already had a crying baby so I tried to call guest services six different times. Once it rang a while and the rest of my attempted calls the line hung up before anyone spoke to me. To say the least, this is the worst customer service I’ve had at a target. I would like my money back for the pampers
For everyone else, look at your receipts before you leave because they will bill you fraudulently and not answer their guest services line.

TL:DR— if you’re a pregnant or postpartum mom, be prepared to be mansplained & receive the third degree if you’re trying to get a merchandise credit for gifts from your baby shower, diapers, anything baby related, etc outside of their arbitrary return policy window (even with receipts).
I had a lovely experience today being talked down to by an associate who really liked using scare tactics, when I had the receipts proving I purchased the diapers, and simply wanted a merchandise credit to purchase the next size up in diapers in store that day. The associate or “lead” proceeded on a lengthly monologue about how he could not accept the proof of purchase receipts and that if I chose to use my ID to get a merchandise credit, my ID would not be accepted at ANY other retailer (even outside of Target) because this was the ONE exception he, in all his power and glory, could give me. He explained that this is the policy to ward off “people” from taking things off shelves and then trying to return them for money— ok great, you want to avoid loss prevention & shoplifting— except I had the receipts on my Target app proving I purchased the diapers. Not a good look, Target— this is not how you treat people.

Recently returned an item purchased online. I did not have my receipt nor my card. The clerk was able to easily help me. She was great because she didn’t even flinch. She was also curtious.

Target's decision to combine the return and pickup lines resulted in inefficiency, amplifying the frustration caused by long wait times. Leveraging technology like barcode scanning via the app and utilizing location services for designated pickup areas could drastically improve this process, making it more efficient and convenient for customers.
