I've been trying out different oil change places and thought I would give Sun devil auto a try. I got their $20 oil change and it was completed in a timely manner. I was extremely happy with their service up until this point.
After they were done I spoke with the young man at the counter and he had concerns about my car. He first explained that the belts were cracking. I told him that my auto mechanic had replaced them four months earlier. He went on to suggest that belts spend so much time in inventory that it could be old before it was ever installed. Next it was my brake pads that needed to be replaced. The pads and rotors had just been replace four months earlier. Then it was the engine mounts were shot and the engine was moving wildly under acceleration. They only drove the car into and out of the work bay. Next it was that my battery was too dirty. Also the fluids were not checked as well, I checked them before and after the visit.
In my opinion the Sun Devil Auto employee was either incompetent or dishonest. Neither is acceptable. As a precaution I did take my car to my mechanic that specializes in import cars. They checked out my car and found none of the issues to be true.
I will not be returning to an establishment that I cannot trust. Attached is a picture of the belt taken the same day.
Edit: The response from the owner is dishonest at best. They did not top off any of the fluids and I was not shown anything. To lie about that seems petty.

Chris and the team at this SunDevil auto location are awesome.
No one likes to spend money on car repairs. But these guys are honest and fair.
Great customer service and are always quick to get my vehicle done.

I feel sad because the garage didn’t deliver while I paid the full amount $1,541 just to fix the cooling system of my 2020 Dodge. I couldn’t start my car. I didn’t appreciate at all. I don’t think I can recommend my friends to do repair at the Sun Devils on Val Vista in Gilbert

Chris, Jason, and pretty much anyone you speak to are extremely helpful. Their customer service is incredible and they are genuinely great people. The work they did on my vehicle was fast and had me back on the road in no time. The communication was awesome, as they described what was need and even send pictures so you can see what is needed for your car. All around great place to go for your vehicle needs!

The location I went to in Gilbert was fast and efficient. They were able to drop me off to work and bring me back when the car was done. Communication on the status of my car was also good. Service was excellent!
