Was a member for around 3 years. Absolutely adored the AJ location and the staff was wonderful, switched temporarily to the Gilbert location due to work and it was a complete mess. Twice I got double charged for a late fee because the young man working the desk didn't let me know my card had been removed from their system although I went daily. The final straw was when the manager switched my home location without asking, I do not trust the Gilbert staff so I wanted to stay with my previous home gym. The female manager who had done the switch then called my personal number from her work app while off work to apologize however it was extremely inappropriate to call my personal number. Disappointed, but ended up no longer going and don't recommend this location, but still highly recommend their AJ one!

Truly a family atmosphere. The staff always friendly and willing to help with anything. You can really see it’s starts with the top down.

Absurdity ... I moved away from the area, so I called to cancel my membership. Complicated by my extremely busy schedule and out of state business travel, I knew it would be weeks before I could take the required absurd drive to their location to cancel. They refused to cancel my membership over the phone. (Although they did so during COVID). It's really not about procedure, but rather about then forcing you to come in so they can try to talk you into keeping your membership. During COVID, when they were afraid you might cough, they would gladly cancel your membership over the phone. Now that gas is over $5/gal, they require you get in your car and drive there to do something you should be able to do in 10 seconds in the app, or over the phone. I won't EVER join another Planet Fitness. Their cancel procedure is ABSURD.

Probably would have been a nice place to be a regular at, if not for the weird guy in the white, fairly new looking, Nissan Transit van stalking the parking lot after dark and harassing people because they're "parking in his spot" or near it, and making threats. Family member and friend transferred their membership to a safer location strictly because of this guy, which is saying something. Mentioned it to employees and they didn't seem to care.This Planet Fitness really needs to get this guy under control before he harms someone in a rage. Furthermore, he isn't even a gym member far as I can tell. He seems to live in his van, rolls in around dark, likes to park under the far row or middle trees (even at night), never once seen him go into the gym or come out of it to the van. Just parks, and puts up shades, once he is done screaming at and/or flashing/blinding people with his high beams because they "took his spot".Location had nice equipment when I visited, proximity to Walmart was great too, but can't get behind it with the parking lot safety issue.

Zero complaints about this location. It’s always clean, staff is always friendly. Jess and Jackie really do a good job taking care of the members. ?

We really like PF and this location. Everything is clean and the machines are repaired quickly if needed. Staff is friendly and helpful. We also like that people at all levels of fitness work out here - makes the club welcoming. Great job everybody!!

The front staff is really nice and helpful. The facility is always clean. They have a lot of machines and the location is great to my house and work. They are also open 24 hours during the week. The only thing I would change would for it to be open later on Saturday and Sundays.

Ive been a black card member for years and travel all across the country for work. Ive been to dozens of different gyms but this is the first one Ive felt was actively trying to drive away customers. Im sure there is a reason for that but when I’m confronted as soon as i walk in the door because Im wearing flip flops by a staff member named Lindsey, it is very telling. She didn’t want to allow me entry despite paying $100s in dues over the years. I explained all I wanted to do was use the shower and she eventually relented but said she would write a note about me. Ive been to this gym before and have seen mentally disabled people have literal diarrhea in the stalls. Im very hesitant to go bare foot into their showers. Its sad that PF has to hire attendants with such low critical thinking skills that they risk driving all business away. When i was leaving the gym i thanked Lindsey for finally allowing me to use the shower that i paid for as she was watching tictoks on her phone.

Very nice facility well equipped and very clean. Staff was always busy keeping it clean. One complaint I'm a black card member and my friend is also a Blackard member my friend was able to check into the club but didn't have their card and the staff member put my friend through a song and dance to check them in to use the massage chair. He should not have had this much difficulty to check in for the Blackcard area as at other clubs they are able to check him in by looking at the computer.

Can't even begin to explain how terrible the so called "management" is at this specific location. I have to say this is by far the worst Planet Fitness in terms of the environment and experience. The so called "glorified location manager" (seems like a group consensus with her being reported via these reviews lol) loves to sit and text on her cellphone as stuff clearly needs to be done in the gym. Perhaps executive level leadership can teach "lower level management" the importance behind customer service. Simple things like filling your continuous empty paper towel dispensers and spray bottles might be a better alternative and start to operating your business. Don't waste your time at this location, tons of other planet fitness locations offer cleaner areas and properly maintained facilities with individuals who actually care to work and don't look like they are miserable and collecting a paycheck. Hopefully leadership can get a grasp of these poor individuals.

I'm confused, I canceled my membership last month and I'm still being charged. I went in person and sighed to cancel membership and they told me I had until august 16th until my membership was no longer in use but my card was just charged again.

Always clean. Friendly/helpful staff. Mornings are never crowded when I'm there Monday-Friday 8-10 am. Great atmosphere to get a great workout with plenty of equipment.

Hi so I never leave reviews for places, especially not gyms, but I felt the need to. I’m sure most people have great experiences and I’ve been going to this gym for months, but when I needed help from the staff they treated me like I was stupid. I tried to go in and transfer locations along with cancel my membership so I could get a teen pass, but for some reason that was so hard to accomplish because the staff kept arguing with me. I was very calm and polite, I said “hey can you please transfer me to this location” the one worker seemed to be struggling which was no biggy, her boss came over and was EXTREMELY rude to me. I simply wanted to transfer to another location. After all was done and I had gotten my eyes rolled at, the front desk worker told me my gym was transferred. Turns out it was not. I checked my app later on that day and it was NOT switched. I tried to call multiple times for that location and I was sent to voicemail. They were definitely open it was during office hours. So I called my new location and they said it was no problem for me to transfer and answered my call without delay. I of course will be continuing with planet fitness, but never again this location. ?

Great gym, awesome staff! Very clean! I just decided to cancel membership due to another customer rushing me to finish my workout because she wanted to use the same machine as me, she was very rude and I didn’t feel comfortable with the way she handled herself. I always see her there so to avoid conflict I will stop coming here! Thank you and goodbye
