Petco is so filled with wonderful things I am fascinated reading all the can labels, checking out the clothes for my dog, I almost walk out with a lizard, abird and a small bowl of some fish !

The grooming team at this location is outstanding. Lina is my girl. She takes care of both my boys, Jack and Beau, simultaneously. She always does an excellent job! The whole staff is always very accommodating. I live in San Tan Valley and there are other locations closer to me I could go to but nobody gives better service than Lina in Gilbert. Highly recommended them. Vetco at that location too.

Don't charge us 10 cents for each bag we need, to be able to get the items we purchased, and you've already recovered the cost of the bags by pricing your items accordingly, so I have already paid for the plastic bags you're attempting to charge us for!
Shame on your company!
I will never shop at Petco again, as long as I have to carry my purchased items in my purse, like a thief would.
How dare you double and triple and quadruple charge for bags? Because you're making a huge profit on each bag you force people to buy.
Your company should be ashamed of themselves. Everyone knows this is just another money making scam, because everyone who has a brain, knows plastic bags are re-effing USABLE! TRY USING THEM IN YOUR SMALL GARBAGE CANS IN EVERY ROOM.

I go here for great customer service and excellent product choices. Their dog training package that includes AKC Good Citizen testing I've not found anywhere else. I like the positive training and doing the training myself rather than dropping my dog's off someplace and not knowing what methods are used on them. The trainers explain how and why the training exercises are done and give homework that only take a few minutes a day. Highly recommend!

I have been using Petco for 5 years for grooming my dog. We recently moved to Arizona and on our second time using them to groom our dog they mentioned on pick up he was a little sassy. Well I guess despite having restraints they decided to not compete his grooming. His whole backside was unshaven. No discount for not finishing or anything. If you are professional groomer you must have tricks of trade to work on sassy dogs. This dog has never even growled at anyone. He doesn’t like brushing but without restraints we brush him and yes he doesn’t enjoy it, but never has he got mean. You charge a lot for grooming. I expect more.

Petco's service, Vetco, is no longer a quality service for cat owners in the valley due to a vet tech by the name of "Brianna". We have used Petco and Vetco's services for years. We have taken our cats for shots multiple times and NEVER had an issue. Our cats are fully domesticated and do not bite or scratch people, they have completely normal cat behavior.
It came due to get our cat his rabies vaccine so we went to the Petco at Ocotillo and Rittenhouse. Brianna refused to get our cat out of his pet carrier and would not let us, the owners, get him out either. She refused us service because our cat hissed. We assured her that he would not bite but she would not listen to us.
We were NEVER informed of this, but apparently they put in our file that we are no longer able to use Vetco's services due to our cat hissing. We attempted a second Vetco clinic at the Petco at Val Vista and Warner the next day. Low and behold, Brianna was also there and told us that our cat would not be helped because she did not want to take the risk of getting bitten.
We were then informed that we were not welcome back at Vetco. Brianna hates cats and now we lost the use of the Vetco service because of ONE incompetent vet tech that hates cats.
I would also note this was not limited to just us. While we were at Val Vista and Warner, Brianna also refused service to a kitten for a similar reason. I talked to the lady who was refused service as well and she also indicated that she has been a frequent customer as well and never was refused service on her car until Brianna.
