I would like to share as I walked into your Gilbert Macy's how wonderful it was to meet Ann Marie I came in to return a purse that was a gift to me and we struck up a conversation. I couldn't have been happier to have met her. Her smile, professionalism and kindness was something we don't see everyday anymore. We struck up a conversation as I told her I had just retired after twenty one and a half years, and the wonderful gifts my staff gave me. We were speaking about bosses and I explained what my job was and what a pleasure it was to supervise and manage the people that I had for so many years. We spoke for 10 or 15 minutes, and she brought up her boss Karen, she spoke about how wonderful she treats her staff, and that she was thankful for a boss like her. I told her that I was the type of boss that didn't just hear people I listened to what they had to say. She, Annemarie said that is how Karen is. I told her, I felt privileged to of had the job I did. And that the people that worked with and for me made me love my job. I told her that I loved them and they are worth so so much to me. Annemarie, said that is how she feels doing her job. And again stated Karen made that possible. I say. Awesome job to all.Thank you Ann Marie you made my heart after our conversation.Lori BarrGilbert Az

Don’t order any sunglasses from the Sunglasses Hut inside Macy’s.I ordered a pair of sunglasses back on May and I never got them, and is December and they still haven’t issue me a refund.I called Sunglasses Hut to get a refund and they did a claim and told me to go to the store I purchased them from, which was this Macy’s location, to show them the email about my claim and they would issue me a refund. I already went 4 times to this location and they always give me excuse after excuse, ( their internet is not working so we can’t look at your order, the system is down, the manager is not her and she is the only one she can issue a refund, so come another day when she is there, this last time I was told this Sunglass Hut manager never comes to this location, that she is always at the Chandler location). Sholeh the sales person is always giving me different excuses why they can’ not issue me a refund, and it has been 6 months and I still haven’t get a refund.I don’t recommend anyone buying sunglasses from this place if they need to be shipped to your address, avoid yourself a nightmare.

I did it again. I said I'd never go back to the San Tan Village location but circumstances happened and I had to visit this location again. The store is always a mess especially the purses, I don't think anyone works in that department I never see anyone straightening the puses. Their jewelry department is bare, they hardly have anything. They try to make it look full with empty watch boxes ect but it just looks like Ross. The store looks old and outdated with stained carpet. You would think they clean up and fold things at night so the store is presentable in the morning but I arrived just after opening and clearly they dont, even the bathroom was disgusting with no soap and an empty cotton dispenser used for opening the bathroom door. And I always see the employees standing in a circle chit-chating , you have to physically walk up to them to get help and they always have to call someone else because it's not their department and then you have to wait till that person shows up to help you. The dressing rooms are atrocious, most always have a closed sign so everyone has to use the same dressing rooms and they don't keep up on emptying them out, again, just like Ross. Save yourself the deception and go to a real Macy's like in Chandler. I will drive further to avoid this subpar location.

Terrible customer service, employee picked up the phone just to say “Sorry I have customers waiting for me” as this is my 3rd time calling in. Seems as if no one here wants to help a customer out looking for an item.

I love the fact that they continue to have makeup consultants in the store. I saw Gigi at the Clinque counter. She was very helpful in explaining the products and took careful consideration to my needs. I have not worn makeup for a while due to allergic reactions. however, Gigi was able to help me find the appropriate basic makeup that works for me.She made the facial experience enjoyable and comfortable.
