Alie stands out as one of the most unprofessional and rude individuals I’ve encountered. Her behavior creates a hostile atmosphere at the gym, And she lacks the temperament required for her leadership role. A quick look at other review shows that this isn’t an isolated incident - Her rudeness and incompetence appears to be an ongoing issue. I understand she may be uncomfortable, bending the rules, as her team has done for us before, rudeness is not the way to encourage someone to add a guest to their account. In sales, Treating loyal customers with respect should be a priority. With a new gym opening nearby, It’s clearly time for LA Fitness to reevaluate its leadership team.

Nice gym, but why did they build it so small? It’s cramped and crowds easily. I know it originally opened as a “Signature” club and it’s been reconfigured. Regardless, cardio should have been upstairs like a lot of the other clubs are. (Ahwatukee, South Scottsdale, Chandler-Ocotillo)

The manager ALLY has a next level attitude. She was very disrespectful and rude during 2 separate interactions (on separate days as well). We had issues visiting multiple locations due to their merge with esporta. No issue there, I was very understanding. She started yesterday telling me I only had access to one location when I was told otherwise at a different location. Conflicting so I wanted an answer and all I got was you can pay more…
Of course it’s always about the sales commissions… right guys? So, she lets me work out one day. The next day (today) I went to the Greenfield / 202 location (old Esporta) in person to get this fixed myself as ALLY provided no help. Got a new key card and the Greenfield location managers helped me quickly. Their staff is AMAZING!
Show up today and she snaps at me and tells me my keycard isn’t valid. And I don’t have an account that I can go to this location, etc. Then when I ask her to call the other location to help solve this as I was JUST THERE… she says no. And then says she’s just trying to help lol. But once again I can workout here only today or it’s going to be an issue.
I’ve never felt more disrespected in my life. I asked her to get someone else and please check her attitude as I was disrespected again and again by her. Honestly this behavior should alert corporate management. ALLY, I say this as respectfully as possible. I think it’s time to move on and find a new job. The gym manager thing isn’t working out. I’m not the only one on here saying things about your behavior. It should be addressed!

To keep it brief a couple days ago, the manager ALLI had told us that We had an issue with one of our accounts, but the following day (Today) We got it resolved and was told by another location that we wouldn’t have any issues. I had noticed the day before that ALLI Was very condescending and rude (she was nice in a rude way). Today we were greeted with the same response and then she suggested an attitude check. The entire interaction she was Rude and degrading suggesting that there was still an issue with the account although we had confirmation that it had been fixed. We asked her to call the other club to which she replied NO several times. Over the last couple days, we were not provided any answers as to why this club had a higher membership cost compared to others, or how we could resolve the issue. Mind you we had had zero issues up to this point and we started coming here about two weeks ago. This is a very nice gym and the staff is wonderful so it makes me disappointed to say that we among others have had poor experiences with the manager ALLI.

New member - got the physical assessment and recommendations. The head guy in charge of selling personal training is dangerous. Besides telling me that the gym’s equipment was useless for me and that the only thing that would be effective would be weight training and squats and lunges, he told me that I was overweight, I am not. He told me my body fat percentage was 36. It’s 27.5 per my physician, I just felt like I was beat up, and then told that the only solution was for me to sign up for personal trading to the tune of over $700 . He then proceeded to show me walking lunges and had me do four sets of 12 which injured me severely and took days to recover from. The guy doesn’t give a darn about anybody. He’s only trying to meet his quotas and sell you training. I do not recommend anyone ever use their assessment services or recommendations.

Tanner has been great trainer, helping improve my strength, mobility, posture, and technique. Thanks Tanner! I’m a better person for having worked with you.
I enjoy LA Fitness in Gilbert and the selection of machines and training areas. Only one thing I would suggest is to keep it cleaner, especially the floors and areas under and around machines. Spots, dust bunnies, hair of all sorts… sanitation should be a priority.

Our experience today was beyond embarrassing. My husband and I went in to workout this morning. The representative stated I could not be a guest. My husband and I usually come in at night, and have never been told I couldn't be a guest. When he first signed up they stated he could bring a guest on his visits and our daughter could access the kids room. Upon my husband asking to speak to a manager for clarification, the manager Ally was sitting right next to her. Ally started being very short with us, no eye contact, said she could pull up our contract and give it to us, knowing there was none in the system due to it being through his insurance. Ally also stated that we should be happy that she gave me a pass to workout today, in which we did not accept based on her unprofessionalism. Ally was also unknowledgeable of the packages offered to gympass members as being manager of this establishment. I also would have purchased the membership if the customer care was handled properly.
As a local business owner, I would never recommend this facility to any of my clients or friends. As a manager you should be able to listen, communicate effectively, and solve simple concerns when it comes to members.

I had several fraudulent charges on my account. This caused me to try to cancel my account. At which point I received poor customer service from Alie at the 202 location. I do not recommend using this gym.

Great place to work out but the gym not so much, i constantly see broken machines.
Almost a year ago i my membership back them the sauna room was broken as not been fix and still broken!

Best gym in the area with the least amount of "tools". A little strict now with the latest management as of early 2024.
