This location is a joke! Walked in at 4:20 had two people available to do taxes. But the front counter guy had us sit there for 20 mins saying everyone was busy. He finally talked to two of the people that work here and one lady came out to talk to us then said have Richard do it. So the front clerk talked to him and came back and said we can’t take you today they are working on drop offs. While in the midst of all this someone came in asking the Richard guy for his drop off and he said they weren’t ready. The front clerk tells us we can schedule an appointment or drop ours off and they aren’t excepting any walk ins right now. Even tho he had us sit there for 20 mins waiting. I told him thanks for the waste of time and called another location they said they would be happy to help me and we went right there and got helped. This place is a joke and we would recommend the Williams field and gilbert location in instead!

I have never used H&R Block. I made an appointment, my tax advisor was ready for me when I got there. I felt like he was knowledgeable and that my taxes were done accurately.

Do not go here. You will be grossly overcharged. I have talked with many family members who had their taxes filed elsewhere, and everyone paid less than my husband and I did here. When I reached out for clarification as to why were charged as much as we were, I never received a reply. We will not be returning.

I had a bad experience where my tax pro tried to overcharge me for the online tax pro review service (I filled out my information myself online and they are just supposed to review and fix or add any critical detail) and instead charge over $300 more for full-service in-office preparation fees. I raised the issue with the manager who told me there was nothing they could do and that I previously had gotten a very good deal (apparently no one had qualms about charging for services that they didn't perform).Additionally, the Peace of Mind guarantee that they charge for is a scam. I had 2 separate managers promise in writing to pay my claim due to issues with my prior year tax return that led to interest and penalties from the IRS, only for them to later never follow through.Bottom line, do yourself a favor and use Turbotax or find an qualified, honest accountant to do your taxes and stay away from H&R Block altogether.

Stay away from H&R block. The preparer made a mistake on a previous tax year. As a result i now owe thousands to the IRS. All they say is thier system made an error & and apparently its happened many times before. When i received a letter from the IRS informing me, the preparer claimed she called the IRS and they wouldnt get back to her. She also said she double checked the return and found no errors.She then told me to call the IRS myself. I the store manager was told ny another preparer to call me back ( i heard him tell her on the phone). She never did !! So much for taking responsiblity !!

I had an appointment scheduled over six months ago. I came in on time with all my paperwork today. I was still waiting 25 minutes after my appointment. I know they're busy but two people came in at the same time and were taken back for their appointments. I kept getting reminders to be there yet they can be late. I definately won't use them again.
