“Once again! This San Tan Trader Joe’s for the WIN!!! Last time I was here, I had had an incredibly difficult 24 hours and was so relieved the store was open until 9pm. When the associates asked how my day had been, my face must have said it all. As we chatted for a few minutes, the cashier discreetly asked her partner to go get me flowers. COMPLIMENTARY Flowers. The gesture/kindness/customer service…just solidified why Trader Joe’s will always have my business.

Last night…again, long day, late night grocery haul before my 6 days on the road, I casually asked if Demetrius had heard of/seen these cute little lunch boxes that I had just seen for the first time. I said a coworker had one and I just loved it. He asked what I do and I told him I’m a Flight Attendant…and the little lunch box was perfect. He asked another cashier to take over for a second and said he’d be right back. To my complete surprise and delight…Demetrius returned with the Pink Linch Box I was looking for! I just couldn’t believe it! Thank you to all your San Tan Trader Joe’s Associates! I hope I give my passengers the customer service you consistently give to me.”

“This is a sweet little grocery store that's very fairly priced in my opinion, especially for the products you're getting. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 stars is because I read that Natural Grocers sells local foods, and I honestly don't think I bought or could find one single thing there that was made locally. All the fruit was from Mexico or Canada, the mushrooms were grown in California... I was really confused actually (haha). I lived in Oregon for a time, and there are grocers all over the place up there that only sell locally grown foods, so I was exciting thinking I finally found another grocery store like that here in Arizona. Still, they did have lots of quality products for a very good price.”

“They have everything here but it is great place for people with special diets. Tons of vegan and gluten-free items that I haven’t been able to find elsewhere. Store is always clean and has a nice relaxed vibe. Staff was helpful and checked in back for an item I wanted more of. I wish I lived closer… this would be my main grocery stop.”

“This store is amazing! I had 3 employees who helped me! Art was extremely helpful as well as Isa V and SCO. Long story short, they helped with my cat treats, as the computer said the store had 119 boxes, yet they were nowhere to be found! Art finally found them on day 2. Yayyyyy! My cat is happy! Thank you for this particular store always being so friendly and caring!”

“Love that WinCo is open 24 hours. Being a single Mom, I don't always get to the stores before 11 when Walmart or Fry's closes but WinCo saves me when I need stuff for my kids. Thanks WinCo”

“We saved money at ALDI and found a great place to find bargain priced, good quality groceries. Bring a quarter for the grocery cart. You have to purchase or bring grocery bags and pack your own groceries. If you are elderly be prepared to lift and pack heavy grocery bags.”

“I prefer grocery shopping at this store vs Safeway as it's always clean, much less crowded, and actually has better selections. One significant difference I noticed is that this store does not run out of their weekly specials like Safeway does. This store has a very impressive extensive liquor section and a huge cooler dedicated just to beer. It's fun to browse and look at all the different variety they carry. They also have a beautiful floral shop and plant section too. Their bakery store is better than a lot of other stores and you can custom order any cakes. I really appreciate the always neatly organized and fresh vegetables. You will also find a ready to eat sushi section and different flavored chicken wings you can buy by the pound which is so convenient. Download the app and you can score some awesome deals too. Scored some chips for $1.97 each (regular price is $5.99) and some cage free eggs for $1.49. I have also never had to wait at the self checkout line so if you are in a hurry this store is very convenient.”

“The manager here at night at Christmas time went above and beyond for us. We self checkout and got home realize my husband didn't grab the bag with the medication we needed so bad we called the store not realizing they all ready were closed. The manager answered the phone and said he would wait for us at the door to come back and get. He really saved us I was super sick so thank you”

“This is my favorite store to take my parents too, they always have an electric cart available. The employees are always friendly and the store is the perfect size for the basic needs they have.”

“I love the size and cleanliness of this store! However, most of the time, there are only 1 to 3 checkouts available, and it can take time to get through. There are self checkouts if you want another option.”

“I've been to this store for many years. There are always many fruits and vegetables in varieties. I like the environment and staff is nice and helpful. It's clean. The price is usually not expensive.”

“Large grocery store that always seems to be empty! Good selection of products - beer/wine/liquor, produce, meats, deli, bakery, etc. Self-checkout as well as attended checkout.”

“Definitely the nicest and largest Bashas' location that I've ever shopped at! The store is very clean and well organized, and the service is always friendly in the Bashas' tradition. Unfortunately, the prices are steep like they've always been at Bashas', but overall their prices aren't any worse than Safeway and there are some pretty good sales whenever I go. Selections can be hit or miss, however; I'll either see certain items that I can't find anywhere else, or the store simply doesn't carry items that I can find at just about any other grocery store. The lines for the self-checkout tend to get pretty long, but this store is not alone in having that issue. It's also rather dim inside, too, but any newer/renovated Bashas' locations have colors and flooring which cause that. Overall, though, I certainly recommend this store, and even more so if you live near it!”

“Store was very well laid out, was able to get everything on my list and then some (as always!). I like to use the self checkout areas so went to the one with conveyor belt, and though most checkout area registers (okay sorta register) are the same, this one was slightly different but I had no problem at all thanks to the on-screen prompts. The only issue I had was when leaving had to get my receipt checked (I knew this was coming since I had a few items not in bags-only because 2 would not fit and I don't see a need to place my milk in a bag when it comes with a built-in handle on it). Realized I forgot ice so pulled my cart over to the checkout area (the one RIGHT by the exit doors), went the 6 feet over to the register & purchased my ice, grabbed my ice from the bin on the way to the door, and even though neither I nor my cart had left visual range of this receipt checker (who I am sure watched me most or all of the time since it was not busy), felt the need to check my receipt yet again. I'm chalking this exit being bad due to an overzealous employee & not a required Walmart policy, otherwise I am thinking they will have to answer to someone as to why people are using so many plastic bags at checkout unnecessarily. Oh-and provide tape to secure items that are too large to fit, or just provide some stupid sticker for unbagged items like any other retail store.”

“What can I say? It's a Walmart. You want something, find it yourself. That's the easiest way to get help. Someday though, I will run into an employee that smiles.”

“They have a great food court but it is similar to other Costco's around town. They are usually slammed full of people so sometimes it is better to go to a Costco that is less busy for the food court items. They are actually all around really busy. I went to the tire store and it took a really long time to get customer service. There was even a customer people watching how long it took. He said he was glad he wasn't in line. I even called another Costco while waiting and was able to get a response from them while waiting at this Costco. I feel like going to other Costco's are faster and friendlier. They sell milk tea here which is interesting. I have also seen milk tea mochi that I liked a lot. It tastes pretty good when I am in the mood for milk tea and am unable to get to a milk tea shop or don't want to make my own. Making milk tea isn't too hard but getting the flavors right can be.”

“Thank you Evan!!!! I will never forget the spirit of this man. Costco - you’ve got a true gem. Having just shopped at Costco, I somehow (new car) managed to lock my keys, purse, phone, and insulin in my running car, with half the groceries inside and others still in the cart. I met several people who sympathized with my issue, and had some good laughs along the way…..Evan was the 7th person I approached for assistance and the only one confident in his choice to find a solution. And that made all the difference. It was literally magic when he got the car to unlock. Thank you again for your willingness to go the extra mile for someone in need. Such an example of being a great human. I’ll see you again after I’ve mastered the burnouts and need a fresh set of wheels my friend. ???”

“We really like this Costco as it is the closest to us and we are already familiar with parking. Avoid entering through Country Club/Arizona Ave if possible. The traffic is crazy just trying to turn left into the parking lot. Best way to get in is through Fiest Boulevard and enter through the back lot. Customer Service has always been friendly for us at the registers. They have a good assortment of items here. Holiday is in full swing here and it was fun seeing all the goods! Can't wait see what else comes out for the season”

“We made a purchase from the Home and Garden dept 2 years ago, and just got to building it last week, only to find out we were missing box 2 of 2. We spoke with the manager, who immediately began making calls, looking for the 2nd box. After a few days, with no luck, he gave us a full refund, on a 2 year old purchase!!

“This is our go to fry's. The staff are friendly and they recently changed the lay out of the store which makes things easier to find. They have a decent gluten free selection included, refrigerated cookie dough, and frozen options.”
