My son is a current student at Great Start, and we are incredibly happy with the program, the teachers, and the environment. As an Early Childhood professional myself, who has done tremendous amounts of research within the field and runs trainings for programs, I am confident that my son is in an environment where he is learning through play, supported through social-emotional situations, and guided to learn in a developmentally appropriate approach. Great Start is a magical place that allows kids to be kids, while also supporting their growth, and I highly recommend the program.

First off I'd like to say this is not meant to be a negative review. I found this place because it was on my way to work and reasonably priced but a couple things on the website that was advertised were not available anymore. Anyways did the tour and explained my sons behaviors and how he could sometimes be be difficult and was told to go ahead and sign him up anyways so i was very excited for him to start as it was his first preschool experience. everyone was really nice and communicated well throughout the days and that was nice but my son started having behaviors and was called twice to pick him up. well as summer approached as I was excited for him to start the summer program I was concerned maybe he was becoming a bit too much for them to handle so I called and asked if it was an issue and was advised they didn't have the extra staff to handle him one on one as it takes away from the other kids which I completely understand. I just wish they would have told me from the beginning or sooner that this would possibily be an issue and I feel like I got him used to something that he did look forward to everyday and had to take him from suddenly. AGAIN not meant to be negative and i appreciate all the staff. .

Loved this school for my child because of the farm animals and the western playhouses. Outdoor space for the kids to be kids. Most importantly the focus being on God/Guidance. The teachers were sweet, always kind and patient with the kids. Could be a little more nurturing/welcoming not all but some. My kid loved bringing a lunch daily. To much change was happening within the center/ our schedule so my child's needs at that time were not being met. Classrooms could use more lighting and different activity center switch outs weekly, if not bi-weekly. More pictures and direct communication with parents would benefit this center and the kids. 3 stars only because of the miscommunication on my kids last day and a voicemail going out to the wrong person and not to the primary parent that same day.

This preschool has been a huge blessing for our family. The staff are caring, loving, patient and so great with our little one! They have age appropriate rooms and toys and give the kiddos plenty of outdoor play time. Our kiddo loves all of her teachers and her favorite part is WATER DAY! They have two playgrounds that are amazing (one has an old western town feel with buildings and a zip line!) and they even have live animals the kids get to help care for (chickens, pig, goats). We are so grateful for this place and want to give a special shout out to the Director Rachel who is an absolute saint!

Adorable little school. If you're looking for fancy preschool with all sorts of technology and a huge shiny new building etc, this isn't for you. They're a nonprofit and won't rip you off. It's cozy and feels like a family. Kids get taught academics in appropriate ways, and then spend a lot of time playing and being kids. The teachers have a lot of heart.

I had my daughter in this place for about 3 months and if I could take it back I would in a heartbeat. This is not a safe place in anyway for your kids.Lets get started with the fact that all combo locks on the fences are left unlocked and ready to be opened by any intruder that wants to lurk the property. The front door does not auto close and half of the parents are in such a rush they leave it cracked open as they walk away. If you are OK with that, you can top it off with the fact that your kid will come home every day with half a pound of rocks in their shoes due to "playing" being the only item on the schools agenda.Another factor to me giving this joke of a preschool/daycare a bad review, has to due to the fact of being lied to by the staff about issues that happened with my daughter and another child. This nature of the other child anger issues and constant hitting was disclosed to my daughters mother and then was hidden from me when I asked. This is lying in my book. The last reason for me writing this review is that my daughter has not gone to this school in over 7 months and I just received notice from my bank that Great Start Preschool submitted a withdrawal from my account. Accident or Fraud, I mean it has been 7 months.....You decide!!!In conclusion, I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.Happy deciding!!!! Heads up, Gilbert Arts Academy on Lindsay and Elliot is less cost and teaches your pre-k students. Just and FYI!!!!
