Great butcher shop, they have a nice selection and reasonable prices. The brats are amazing and they have a bunch of different kinds to choose from. The ground beef is about the same price as the supermarket but much better. They have spices and rubs as well.

Wonderful folks who obviously view what they do as an art. This was the third time I’ve bought a farm-raised turkey breast from them, and it will feed us plain, in reubens, in pot pie, and on a BBQ pizza (and probably beyond). The flavor is so far beyond a grocery breast, and estimating maybe 14 meals X 2, this breast breaks down to a very reasonable $2.80 per meal. And when you have helpful and informative butchers, it makes creating good meals even more rewarding. And the diversity of the GB staff means a diverse selection of specialty meats.

This is one of the best meat markets around! We go there regularly, but ordered a Bison whole ribeye to make prime rib from, had them bacon wrap it by the way.... this is the pre-game, before it goes on the charcoal rotisserie, more picks to come of the game.

This is my go-to place for special meals. Take great beef, a great cut and add 6 hours at 170F followed by 10 minutes at 550F. Nuff Said.

The Gilbert Butchery has been on my foodie radar since moving to Gilbert a little over two years ago. We decided to preorder a de-boned tie-on prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. As soon as we walked in the shop we were met with the amazing smokey scent of their homemade beef jerky being made in back. After we placed our order we walked around the shop. I noticed that they had bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, so that went down. Can’t wait to try them. One shelf in particular which displayed their seasonings, rubs, and sauces immediately caught my eye as we were leaving. I had to pickup one of their spicy seasonings and a jar of hot salsa to add to my collection. Their staff is extraordinarily friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and engaging. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!

First time shopping here and had a prime ribeye. Best we have had in years. Staff was attentive and very friendly. I could not get my dog to eat the cows ear but she is picky. She did enjoy a few scraps of the steak though. Would highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome! I took my whitetail deer here to get processed and the turn around time was within a week. That poor deer took more back shots than a Kardashian but they were still able to get some beautiful steaks off of the back straps! Couldn’t be happier!

Today we had a whole chicken in our fridge for a few days that we bought here. I opened it and it smelled rotten. We called the store to ask how long the chicken should be good for they told us it should still be good based on when we purchased it, that we can bring it in and they will replace it. We got to the store 20 minutes later. They took the chicken in the back, then they took all the whole chickens that they had up front in the back, which I thought was strange. The employee came out from back with the chicken already packaged. When I got home and opened the package it turns out it was the same chicken that they just washed with water and gave back to us. Just an fyi, you can’t rinse the smell of rotten off a chicken! I have a 2 year old that they were willing to get sick cause of their negligence! I would never recommend this butcher to anyone, they don’t have a problem selling bad meat!

They have dry meat, venisons, elk meat, duck, frog legs, lambs. Small butcher shop but lot of good stuff for bbq!
