Estimator John Roe came to our house in Phoenix to assess the presence of mold in the ceiling of our garage. No mold was detected, but John did find a small roof leak that we didn't know about. John was prompt, professional, friendly and very helpful to us. They do remodels, so we will definitely keep them in mind for future work.

One of their workers hit my car and ran. They refuse to claim it was their truck even with police identifying their vehicle. Truly untrustworthy company. Be careful doing business with them!

Okay so John the inspector, not sure his exact title, came and assessed my bathroom area where the mold was behind the wall. He checked it out and gave me his recommendations. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am that he was honest, and helped me to understand more about my situation. Although, I did not eventually need to have First Choice Restoration come to my house and do any further work, John did provide valuable information and literally fixed what I thought could have been a more devastating cost to me. Thank you First Restoration for sending him all the way out to my home.I highly recommend this company and in the future if I need help will definitely call. Thank you.

We came home to a flood in our main bathroom. The toilet float had stuck and flooded the bathroom and closet. I called First Choice Restoration and they understood the urgent need to get it fixed quickly. They had a crew out in an hour and they were quickly drying everything up. The crew communicated very well with us on the process. Their quick action, professionalism and knowledge saved us from dealing with a major mold problem. I will call them if we ever have another disaster and I highly recommend them to my friends and family!

First Choice Restoration provided exceptional service for a difficult job. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They were able to restore my water damaged floors and drywall with minimal damage to the rest of the home. The work was completed on time and on budget. I would highly recommend First Choice Restoration for any restoration project large or small. The team clearly takes pride in their work and it shows in the final product. I am very pleased with the results and will definitely use them again in the future!

Quick to collect final payment without a final walk through. Work is very shotty, tub smaller than original one. Never asked how satisfied we were with the work, just for final payment. I feel bad for my mom. This has made us trust no one. We were going through a pretty rough time & they knew this & this didn't help matters. Not recommended. We had a leak late October of 2021 and started the reconstruction in November. We chose First Choice out of the 3 that were recommended by insurance adjuster, we chose them due to the other 2 would not be able to start the repairs until Feb 2022 and Kelly our project manager assured us that they could start right away. First there was zero cleanup after drywall, there was drywall smashed into my grout and all over my yard and they never came back to pick up the excess or garbage we had to clean and throw it away. Kelly was our project manager and when the shower installers realized that the walls were not straight and they would have to reschedule after it was fixed Kelly's said he was going to have the shower walls shortened, this was not what we wanted but the communication shut down and we requested to Aaron to assign another project manager so we could complete our project, which we did not get. I could go on but the shorter version is Kelly quit working with us and 5 months later, on a small job, I finally got the final bill and there were several things that said "did not do" I didn't ask them not to do anything they just didn't do them and still our bill was higher than our original estimate.This was an extremely stressful event and working with them made it even worse.

This is the only review that I've ever written. Says enough about how poorly my experience was. I had to get all information from my insurance company because I never received an email from the first choice other than a for a survey. Not a copy of the estimates, invoices, or corresponding reports. I don't want you to ever work on a project for me. No products were ordered, none were even suggested. The first estimate took 3days...weird how now someone wants to reach out. Haven't received a call back in a month I could send a screen shot of a call log, but enough of my time has been wasted. I enjoyed living in an partially demolished home, but I have to move on.Services: Paint indoors

Our home suffered water damage from one of the summer of 2021 storms. After finally get insurance to move (Allstate), First Choice Restoration came on board and the work repairs began. The First Choice Restoration construction workers were very courteous, and mindful that they were working on the house that we live in. We just plain like them! The construction work was impeccable and even the daily mess that was necessary was cleaned up each day. If we had any questions, if the construction workers couldn't answer, they referred us to the Project Manager, Juan Alvarado, who promptly returned the call and took all the time necessary to explain so that we understood. It was necessary for First Choice to hire a subcontractor at one point and, unfortunately, there was some personal property damaged by that subcontractor. First Choice Restoration held that subcontractor's feet to the fire and the personal property was replaced to our satisfaction. We strongly recommend First Choice Restoration.

This company was great. I had talked to Daniel by phone after I had gotten an estimate from a company my plumber recommended for water mitigation (the water tank leaked and flooded)…i did not feel comfortable with their price or process. They had a minimum of 1200 and I knew this was not that large of an issue. I was out of state and this was for my rental property and it was 2 days before Christmas. I definitely needed someone out but I wanted someone to shoot me straight on my situation. Prior to arriving Daniel told me straight and was direct with the process and helped me get an idea on costs too. They did not try to upsell me or my Insurnace like the other companies may. The tech handled the issue and was professional and I was very pleased as were the tenants to the outcome…especially during the holiday weekend. Thank you! Would recommend for an honest evaluation and service.

Excellent service. Worked with John Roe, who was fast, thorough, and HONEST. Had a leak and roofer had fixed the roof part. Said we only needed drywall repair for the ceiling. Wasn’t sure if this was true, so called up First choice. Lady was really nice and set up an appt with John, who came the same day. Took very thorough pictures, and told us that all we needed was drywall repair, and that the wood underneath is still good. Appreciated the promptness, professionalism, and honesty. Will be contacting them for any restoration work in the future. Thank you, John!

If we are talking about First Choice Restoration and Disaster Team in 1998 Mears Parkway, Margate; you are making the biggest mistake. I will post pictures of how my kitchen is since 6/8 to today. They took $2000 dollar deductible that I paid. I asked for a signed, and licensed contract by the owner and as of today, nothing. I will also tell you who the owner is per my information. I received an itemized bill from my insurance company stating how many equipments and services they claimed to provide but isn't true. I have documented everything with pictures. Will be back with pictures. You be the judge.
