I discovered Donaldson Watches and Repair in Gilbert, and they’ve been my go-to ever since. Their personalized service goes far beyond just changing batteries—it's the attention to detail that sets them apart. They are a full service watch repair shop. For example, I once took my diver's watch to one of those mall battery replacement kiosks. Sure, they swapped the battery, but they completely overlooked a critical step: re-pressurizing the watch to keep it waterproof. Luckily, I caught this before any serious damage occurred. Now, I trust only Donaldson Watches and Repair for all my watch needs. Their expertise and care are unbeatable.

I have a Rolex I got recently as a gift. Took it in for a crown issue. I didnt want to tell the person that gifted me the watch about it to spare them any guilt, and just wanted to take care of it. Donaldson was very polite and said they could handle it no problem, estimate of $250 or so. I felt good and taken care of. The next day I get contacted by the person who gifted me the watch and told them the issue, they contacted the company they bought it from and "Company X" offered to fix the issue for FREE. I called Donaldsons numerous times, they never pick up the phone, voicemail says " Text XXXXX for a quicker response". I text and get a reply of "Whats your question? We have several people in the store right now." Like really??? I tell them I need to pick the watch back up, and they just "thumbs up" the message. Hours later I pick up the watch to a condescending lady who brings out the watch and doesnt say anything to me except "I should have done that first instead of wasting my time running around". Completely blew me off as she handed me the watch and walked away. Coffin and Trout reccomends these guys??!! Work, maybe... customer service?? COMPELTE TRASH. Im glad I didnt use them and I will make sure I never do. *** insert ridiculous google response from store trying to save face here***

Obviously, the guy below me does not know how to read or hear because they post their hours on the door, on their website, and on their phone message. It was also a holiday weekend. Are they not entitled to a vacation of their own, or would you like them to be on call for you. I have been going to Donaldson's for years and never once had a problem. Very knowledgeable and polite to all their customers.

This place is never open. I've stopped by 4 times over the last few months and they're never open for a variety of reasons. Guess I'll move on and find a reliable watch store.

Went in to Donaldson's yesterday with a Panerai 00112 with a crown issue. They took a look at the watch for me and found that a simple tightening of the setting lever screw was all that was necessary to bring it to working order. No charge. Just another example of how this company continues to impress me with their customer service. Donaldson's has always done right by me and my watches. They are professional, courteous, responsive and their work is of the utmost quality due to their highly skilled watch technicians. Their professionalism and work quality are unmatched. I take all my watches here and would suggest anyone to do the same.

Donaldson Watches and Repair has our business because of their knowledge and skill with many brands of watches.
Recently we had the crystal on my Dad’s Rolex replaced. It came back looking beautiful!
We have referred many friends and family over the years because of their quality service. Also, they have a nice selection of watches to purchase.

Exceptional. I’ll stand behind them every day.
Since I’ve met them, they’ve serviced and sold my family all of our watches, never an issue (10+ years).
Simple battery replacements in a reasonable time and at a reasonable cost. For two watches that needed some insight, fixed beyond expectation with the last one being unrecognizable.

I 100% trust my watches with Donaldson. They do it all! To date, they have done full service and repairs on several of my Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Baume & Mercier, Panerai, Tag, and Cartier pieces. They stand behind their work and charge fair prices. With Dave’s manufacturer training and parts accounts, they are faster, better, and cheaper than sending a watch to Rolex, Omega, or any of the other OEMs. In addition, they offer a nice selection of quality watches and provided me with fantastic pricing on a new Ball timepiece. Donaldson is the best!

Knowledgeable and Trustworthy. I have enjoyed years of great service and contact with this very professional business. They do not leave you guessing or hanging with the service they provide. I wish there were more businesses operated like Donaldsons. I'm fortunate to have this "classy" shop to trust with my time pieces.
They diagnosed, ordered and replaced the swiss movement in a time piece that has great sentimental significance to me. I would have paid anything to have this piece working again and was shocked how reasonable and quick they provided this service. A couple of my "Priceless to me pieces". They treat all my silly finds like they were Patek's.

Told my capacitor in my eco drive was bad. $49.95 later. I get my watch back with dirt still in the lugs and around the back plate. And now only registers 1/2 charge capacity after hours in direct sunlight. Don't believe the repair was even attempted.
