Arlo has been a patient at Crosswinds since he was a puppy, and is now 5 years old. When we arrive for an appointment he can't wait and tugs me to the door.
The staff are all great and Arlo loves them all. They are even nice to me!
Cross Winds keeps track of Arlo's visits with early reminders to schedule an appointment. Got a question, call and it will be answered right away, or a short time later by a promised call back.
Every visit is followed up by a wellness check call the next day!

? **Negative Experience Alert** ?
We have been bringing our dog to this vet since she was 8 weeks old. The previous veterinarians, vet techs, and staff have been absolutely wonderful! ?❤️
But today, we had a truly horrific experience with a relief veterinarian, Dr. Dahlquist. ?
It started with her calling my dog by the wrong name, even after I corrected her multiple times. She then proceeded to bark orders at me: "stand here, hold her there, do this, do that." My dog, who has always been comfortable here, was terrified and shaking. ?
The worst part? She ordered my sweet dog to be sedated. When my dog took it off the muzzle, Dr. Dahlquist made snide remarks and threatened to sedate her for an annual checkup! I was shocked and said no way. Her response? "Go to another veterinarian then!" ?
As a result, my dog did NOT get her annual check, her heartworm medication, or her vaccinations. Why is Dr. Dahlquist even practicing veterinary medicine if she neglects the patients’ health?! ?♀️
After years of loyalty, I can’t believe a "relief" vet would be so disrespectful, unprofessional, and dismissive. If I were the owner, I'd be horrified that someone like Dr. Dahlquist is driving away long-time clients. ?
Time to find a new vet! ?

My best experience with a vet! The staff was friendly, prompt, caring, knowledgeable, and the price was very fair! The vet went above and beyond typical care by spending extra time with our dog and giving us advice! Wonderful visit!!

Dr. Roach was the best vet we have ever seen. She explained options and then gave some personal insight to help make an educated decision. She was very conscious of money and quality of life for our old girl. She was so friendly to us but most importantly to our dog. She was right there on the ground with her helping to hold her up and guide her to lay down when she was ready. We live in Ahwatukee and will continue to drive to Crosswinds because of the amazing care we always receive.

Took our dog here for the first time and it was a very good experience. Dr. Piper was very informative and shared a lot of things with us that no other vet has. Had multiple pamphlets and other resources ready to go for us for our next steps and regular things to do for our dog who is currently working through a past ACL tear and preparation for surgery hopefully sometime this year!
